About A Bar's Tale

A Bar's Tale is an adult visual novel made by EXEMPT Soft with Ren'Py. It presents a grim city called Twilight City, where back-alley deals, prostitution, and drug trade are common, while some hope to restore its former glory. You play as Daphne, a young law college graduate who cannot find work at any local law firm. Needing money, she visits her employer for extra work and receives a job far different from what she expected. The game uses 3D rendered scenes and focuses on a female protagonist and voyeurism.

The current build is v0.03, released on March 3, 2025. Development is ongoing, as the changelog lists an initial release and a minor story update for this version. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, with English text. The game is uncensored.

Developer's description

Welcome to Twilight City. Here, back-alley deals, prostitution, and drug deals are the name of the game. There are few who seek to return the city to it's former lustrous glory. Enter Daphne, a young law college graduate who is down on her luck. Try as she might, no law firm in town would hire her. Desperate for cash and another job, she goes to her employer looking for extra work. But the job she offers isn't anything like she expected at all...
