About A Trip Up North

A Trip Up North is a Ren'Py visual novel by The Amorous Antechinus, presented in 3D CG art. You follow Rob and Suzanne, a male-protagonist couple whose continuing story takes them to northern England to join The Velvet Hand, a swingers club described as the gold standard. Their visit is also an MI5 assignment to infiltrate the organisation of an arms dealer. The gameplay focuses on choices that let the couple select partners as the story progresses.

The current build is Part 4, released on September 9, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, with no censorship. The latest changelog entry says Part 4 has the couple start their mission and meet the arms dealer. Earlier entries mention narrowboat travel to London, induction at The Velvet Hand, and over 700 renders plus simple animations, but Part 4 is the newest update.
