About After the Fog

After the Fog is a Ren'Py visual novel by Abbys_Cat. It follows a male protagonist who was left by his family, grew up rough on the streets, was adopted, then built a ruthless military career. After studying an unknown technology, he glimpses a coming apocalypse of mutants, burning skies, and human collapse. With money and hidden contacts, he tries to survive, gather allies, secure resources, and uncover painful secrets before the end arrives. The game uses 3DCG and animated visuals, with a dystopian setting, harem elements, and furry characters.

The current build is Episode 3, an ongoing episodic release dated August 7, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, and supports English, French, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese. The uncensored build includes 4,885 words, 565 images, 16 videos, and 23 new gallery photos. This update also adds a new intro, a main theme, a harem tracker, a revised image and video gallery, mobile-focused save backup, experimental improved lighting, and extra background audio and minor effects.

Developer's description

Abandoned by his family and hardened by the streets, the MC was adopted, pursued a military career, and became ruthless. After researching an unknown technology, he managed to see the future, and what did he see? The apocalypse that would happen in a few years… mutant hordes, skies in flames, humanity wiped out. Now, with wealth and shadowy connections, the MC races against time: building indestructible bunkers, recruiting allies, hunting resources in war zones, and uncovering secrets from his painful past.
