Alice in Cameraland

This is a strange game, and hard to rate, thought by now someone else would rate this based solely on the novelty value, but ehh, suppose I'll be the first. I'll save you some time and tell you to take two stars off unless you like weird games. You play as a porn director, directing a specific movie (multiple times), which is inspired by Alice in Wonderland with a specific blonde, blue-eyed relatively busty actress. There are variations in how the movie goes, but generally speaking, its the same movie but which scene happens or is skipped depends on girl stats and some random chance. Now if you thought that was a bit weird, here's where things start getting really meta. You can increase the lust of the girl, and thus inspire more sex scenes, but this ISN'T always a good thing. The movie gets reviews at the end which determines the amount of money received, but if you make a non-stop porn fest, it gets lower ratings. It also gets low ratings if there is no porn. So you have to balance sex scenes with plot scenes without porn, in a porno mind you. No I'm not kidding. What's even more amusing about all this is if you make the girl a fuck toy during the movie, she'll actually get jaded as all hell and makes snide comments, like (paraphrasing) "guess I'll blow everyone again", or "not like this movie is worth a shit, let's fuck all the dwarves I guess." Its not exactly what most people play these games for. If you ever had the misfortune of watching a porn actress who looked like she'd rather be anywhere BUT in the room getting fucked, it feels exactly like that. It is hilarious as shit though. The porn itself is often rather weird, appropriate for a wonderland tale. I wouldn't call it bad though, and the girl is attractive and art is generally good, so no serious complaints here. Is it a good game? Well...no, its too short, its tone is way too cynical, and its too cryptic about movie reviews for that. Is it worth playing at least once? Hell yes. It feels like a meta commentary on porn games themselves, and if you don't take it seriously, its both funny and interesting. I wouldn't consider it good porn, but I like it for trying something different, so despite under traditional measurements I'd rate this closer to a two, I'm giving it four.
