About Altera Via
Altera Via is an adult-oriented visual novel by ZRL Games, made with Ren'Py. You play a young man whose ordinary life becomes filled with friendships, chance meetings, and slowly growing romantic feelings. The women he meets are written with separate personalities, histories, and personal struggles, and routine interactions plus meaningful choices let those bonds develop over time. The game emphasizes relationships and character development overall. The story uses 3D CG and AI CG visuals. The romance is central to the narrative. The early part of his life can later take an unexpected turn as events unfold.
The current ongoing build is v0.5.8, released October 30, 2026. It runs on Windows and Linux, is available in English and Spanish, and is uncensored.
