Think of all the overused porn movie cliches in a visual novel format, like women in revealing clothes flashing MC when they've just met, applying sunscreen to whole body like it's no big deal (this one was used almost 20! times throughout the novel), explicit sex scenes in cinema and on TV, walking in on people in the showers as if you can't hear the water running from 5 meters away (no locked doors ofc), etc. Here it is at least explained that MC is basically like a god among men because he's an alien that emits these pheromones which makes him irresistible to women, but it's really just a lame excuse for weak writing. ⠀⠀⠀Novel is divided into two distinct parts: season 1 in which MC is introduced to this new to him suburbian paradise setting where he just goes around laying pipe with every female in the vicinity, and season 2 where the actual alien sci-fi story kicks in. ⠀⠀⠀Dialogue feels meaningless and purely utilitarian. But back on earth only a month later, she goes full "oh, my soyence" and "the prophecy has fallen, billions must die" on her sister completely outta nowhere. The alien assassin attempted to seduce MC only to say "fuck it" and assault him head on. Why? ⠀⠀⠀The protagonist just wants to have sex at all times, this is his main drive and motivation to move forward. Yes, there is a lore explanation for it, but the fact is all the same. It may appear at first glance like he's getting emotionally attached to these girls but it's all farce. Losing a girlfriend is no big deal to him as he's got 20 more. He's not actively repulsive or anything, just not interesting as a fictional character. He's got no personality, no ideals, no charisma, no clear goals. He just exists and he's horny - that's it. ⠀⠀⠀The vast majority of the females in this novel I couldn't care less about, and why would I if the author themselves treat them as essentially just booty calls? They are here to provide a random sex scene once in a while only to be immediately forgotten until the next time. There is not a whole lotta likable or unique to make these women memorable or stand out either. Choices: ⠀⠀⠀VN has ~25 love interests and I use that term loosely because they're more like friends with benefits. Anyways, 6 of them are mutually exclusive. Also MC apparently has a very busy schedule of "do fuck all" or "do all fuck" so he can't physically fit all the sex scenes with main girls in a single playthrough. Those two are the bulk of the game's choices. I guess you can sometimes decide whether to come inside or outside, but it matters not since MC is infertile. Most "love interests" are not optional btw. Erotic content: ⠀⠀⠀'Porn - first, story - second' kind of novel, so we usually don't go without a sex scene for more than 5-10 minutes at a time. But not only is this sex repetitive, it's also senseless as there are often no feelings, no connection, little passion and no intimacy, just two friends relieving each other. Sfx is taken from literal porn clips so already not ideal, but they're often from the same one so it also gets repetitive. Animations are either asset flips or horrible self-made ones. However with each episode the story of getting more and more convoluted and downright dumb. The MC is an extremely one dimensional moronic character. The MC is a somehow the dumbest character on screen unless there's other guys around. The guy has no complexity or depth. The MC has the presence and charisma of a wet napkin on a dinner table and somehow still all the women throw themselves at him. You could maybe try to explain it with the "alien powers" but that's just lazy writing. And the fact that all the women are attracted to the MC without any rhyme or reason makes all the female characters even more one dimensional and narratively flat. They all feel like blow up sex dolls whose only purpose to exist is to drool after the MC. In the Dev's earlier game each LI atleast had some emotional connection/reason to be with the MC. Even the MC in the earlier game, even after being a hukling unit with a footlong dick, had a decent personality and some narrative depth. All characters in this game are extremely flat personality wise. All the female characters have practically the same body characteristics. There's very little variation in the body types of all the women with the only obvious difference being the complexion and the hair colour of the girls. Except diana and the "prime Grandma" all the female characters look practically the same age. The 40 something year old Dean, the 30 something year old librarian and the 20 year old cousin practically have the same body, with the only difference being the older two wear spectacles. I was kinda excited at the start of the 2nd season when adrianna and Danielle were being "enhanced" in the space ship and that they would be stronger. I thought that finally there would be some variety. But even after the enhancement they barely toned up and even that subsided. That was a lost opportunity that could've added some flavour to the game. But the real gripe I have with this game is the fucking dialogue. It is getting progressively more brain dead and mind numbingly dumb with each new release. I don't understand why but for some reason anytime some genre/tag content comes on the screen, the dialogue feels as if someone is trying to smack you in the face with a pan that says "look, here is the incest/dom/harem/etc content". I know that the MC, adriana and Daniella are siblings. It had been very well established that they are siblings. I also understand that they are fucking. I know sex between siblings is the naughty bit. Therefore i do not need to be reminded every 2 seconds that they are siblings and they are fucking. But for some God forsaken reason anytime there's dialogue between the MC and these 2 girls every second fucking line sounds like "hello brother/hello sister/my brother is so hot/my sister is so hot/I'm fucking my brother and that's naughty/I'm fucking my sister and that's naughty". Nobody calls their sibling "their brother/sister" unless referring to them in the third person. People just call their siblings by name. And that's not the only time this happens. The MC repeatedly refers to asami as a geisha, Summer as cousin, anne as aunt and his girls as his harem. If the dialogue has to remind the players every other second that the MC if fucking his family, has a dom relationship with his maid or has a harem, that probably means either the dialogue is over-explaining stuff or that the story is not doing a very good job at conveying these thoughts. Even the sex dialogue all throughout the game can be basically condensed to the women saying to the MC that he has a big dick and the MC saying to the girl that she's hot and that he's the "alpha man". All in all, the game has potential but it's being shat on by the poor narrative and dialogue choices.

Reviewing Season 1 - v 1.9.0 This is a VN, a damn well crafted VN. The core element in a VN is the story and how its crafted matters, since you don't have many choices, these choices ultimately still matter, but you do not expose the core plot until later. And this game succeeds in that. Story is interesting, pinches from many other narratives, but does so cleverly. Renders are fantastic, scenes are diverse and make the setting come alive. LI personalities are diverse and interesting, with mystique being a core element not fully explained in Season 1, but hinted heavily towards the end. Not all girls have the same approach to sex with MC, and with a fairly wide 'reactionspectrum' it just stresses how well written this game is. Sexfrequency isn't exactly one big fuck fest, but it feels natural'ish (given its a porn setting certain relationships take off *really* fast, while others don't). Lacking annoying minigames or having to guestimate the best path to take is also a quality that pushes this games rating up. I'm eagerly extracting Season 2 and continuing on, even though its fairly late, and I've just marathoned Season 1. This is a guy who pats himself on the back for not abusing Summer when she's black-out drunk. Of course, whenever the plot wants him to be something else, then he can rise to any occasion. He'll introduce himself just fine and even manages to give meaningful compliments to complete strangers. His constant objectification of everyone around him makes him a one-note and exhausting character. The story also demands its characters to be dumb whenever the plot needs to screech to a halt. Anne, an experienced businesswoman with a lawyer on retainer, won't follow up on the MC's legal issues. And the MC becomes clinically retarded whenever a pair of boobs is in front of him (almost constantly). He doesn't wonder why the university needs a medical checkup and why this checkup would include a sperm test. He's just happy he got a blowjob out of it from a hot MILF who later turns out to be the mother he hates. Or 'hated,' she has big tits, so he has to forgive her, or he couldn't fuck her otherwise. Meanwhile, the narrative makes it apparent that something fishy is going on, which the audience notices. We're witnessing the MC walking blindly into a trap because he gets to follow a juicy ass into it, and all we can do is facepalm. It would've been fine if the MC started off this way and grew into a more balanced person, but this never happens. Worse, everything the MC achieves is because of WHAT he is, not because of WHO he is. His high pain tolerance, rapid healing, and an effect that makes women lust for him are all ingrained. It doesn't require any effort or betterment on his part. He lusts after women and pulls them in without effort. This is a good setup for a game that's unapologetically about porn, but Alternate Existence wants to be more. It also aims to tell an epic sci-fi tale with plot twists and intrigue... And it fails miserably at it. Quality of Writing: Dialogue is superficial, mirroring the MC’s thoughts, prioritizing titillation over substance. Inconsistencies (Anne’s backstory, Marie’s lies, Gigi's involvement) and unmotivated actions (MC’s blind trust) read like a draft. Early conflicts (Summer’s protection) are just dropped... With characters being so one-dimensional, they aren't enough to keep me hooked on the overarching story. We're spending time on reading tons of meaningless dialogue. We go on dates and witness sex scenes that add nothing to the story or the MC's growth as a person. We're constantly treading in place until the writer decides that the plot needs to move forward.

Going by AVN standards it does justice to giving the audience what they want; erotic scenes..... in short, a scene viewer. However, for someone looking for game that's immersive and gives you agency over the story it fully fails on that aspect. At some point when the game went on a full 20 min of gameplay without giving me a simple choice, even though the choices are placebo (an illusion of choice), I just couldn't be bothered to care about what happens. The dialogue is so poorly written and funny at the same time. The dialogue of the asian LI (love interest) was more like Jackie Chan from Rush Hour trying to speak English. Plot wise everything went into a spiral downward. Don't get me wrong, the start had an interesting premise which got me hooked. More of like a rags to riches story with school elements. However, when you realize that every female throws themselves at you without consequence they all just started to look and feel the same and the story becomes nonsensical. Plus, with a major plot reveal to satisfy the sci fi elements, it strongly pushes you away from caring about the story anymore. I can't recommend this game even though the game features different and a variety Daz Models that other games lack or reuse.

This game has by far the largest number and variety of gorgeous women of any AVN I've played (and I've played all the big ones). I almost feel like the MC shoulda been killed in part 1, and "revived" or a new character comes into the picture, or something because it feels like dev took all the structure of the old character, and tried to change it. Old MC was obsessed with Pussy, and that was pretty much it. New MC gets a little bit of responsibility and turns into an edgy emo loser and broods the entire time. Idk man. It's thrown me off so hard. First two episodes are just genuinely bad, in every way to me. All the build up, ended up digging downwards instead. It takes so long to get anything moving too, I dont understand what the purpose of it is. Are we moving forward on the supernatural stuff, or are we staying true to like a harem-bangem-all game. Theres a lot going for this title, but dev needs to shape it up, massively, we would need some bogus reason for why MC randomly had this change of heart in attitude especially. The first part wasn't the best, dont get me wrong, but it wasn't that bad either. It was a little goofy at times, but still it had its moments. S2 hasn't had really any moments at all, it just feels bland, theres no excitement. Also sigh, I just cant stand when the writing when MC see's a hot girl is like "MOTHER OF GOD, HOLY SHIT!!!!!, WOWW!!!!!, FUCKING HELL!!!!!" for lack of a better word it comes off very virgin lol. For an MC that gets pussy like its on clearance sale, zero game with women just full on cringe speak in the writing. Always makes me die a little inside tbh. All these girls dont question it and have a thing for wanted fugitives I guess lmao. Its more along the lines of a 2.5/5 than a 3/5, average really is the best way to sum it all up. I love the sci-fi setting. the animations are good not the best but better than average the sex scenes are a little too zoomed in sometimes which is my only complaint really

The game's story is actually good, but at times you can tell that the writing gets lost, some things don't make sense. Another problem is the lack of choices that really influence the story, since there are few and I feel like they don't change much. For example, in the case of the maid in the game, I don't like her and I didn't want her as a romantic partner, but until now I haven't understood why the relationship with her was forced, since she's just any maid, not even a relative or someone close to the protagonist, and yet you're forced to stay with her. In the second season, we have more choices that seem to influence relationships, but there are still few. If there were to be more choices, there could have been in the first season too. Anyway, the game has some problems, but it's one that makes you pass the time.

Found this game the other day and started playing it yesterday and just couldn't stop playing it. The story drew me in and I just love the different character's personality and mixed in with Sci Fi made it better. The models for all the charters I just thought was great and I like how the MC doesn't look like a teenager. I can't wait for the next update.

A primitive, ill-conceived plot, which is not good for a kinetic novel, because if you decided to provide only one path, try to at least make it readable. In general, this cannot even be called a novel, but rather a collection of decent animations with nonsense in the text box. Regarding the "romantic" part, the main character's dialogues with women are a series of looped dry, most often irritating phrases. I don't even see the point in mentioning the illogicality of the main character's decisions, which you cannot influence. 1 point for the visual component, nothing else to be found here. It's a pity for the time spent on this.

It is really hard to find anything good to say about this game because even the well done things are completely let down by the rest of it. I would say the biggest problem is just how bad the women are, a wealthy drunk that plays with the MC like a pet, a bitch, a tease, cheerleader embarrassed to be seen with you, a milf that wants a boy toy and a stripper, are just some of the main date-able characters and there personalities are horrible making them an incredibly unlikable and untrustworthy group and because of that the really good art and animations are mostly wasted. A close second on the problem list is the MC who is very poorly written, he feels the need to constantly and a do mean constantly comment on how pretty the women are and say what they are wearing is nice to the point it gets really really annoying, he tells a parent he wants a committed relationship with her daughter while dating and having sex with other women, has the magical ability to know who hates him and who hates him but is just putting on a front with no evidence to the contrary for either, at the start he was sensible but quickly turns into a pervert, then a simp, after that a playboy and finally an idiot who makes the dumbest decisions possible, Spoiler: MC's dumbest decisions, large spoilers Nerdy guy told to meet a cheerleader secretly in the janitors closet, willingly talking to a cop who is trying to put you in prison, going with a doctor who MC knows almost nothing about and is totally not running an illegal or dangerous human experiment and wants you to follow her in the middle of the night(oh shes leading me into the woods and has admitted there is no experiment better keep following her) and finally a woman claiming to be MC's mother(who he hates and has no memory of so he cant know if she is or not who she says she is) says he's an alien and wants to take him away with zero explanation but will absolutely bring him back if he wishes later on but right now she must take him, what kind of moron would do these things? None of the story really makes any sense and what does is just thrown away as if it was nothing, Spoiler the whole rejection thing at the start, Summer being a bitch, relationship building, back story etc... Choices are see scene or not, they have zero impact on the story, even when not picked the scene is still referenced as if it was seen which gets confusing, this is a completely choice-less game no story or relationship ones do anything. Lots of repeated events just with a different girl, fashion shows, caught staring, women falling on MC, rubbing suntan oil etc... So in a nut shell, dumb simp scumbag MC, unlikable girls, no choices, minor NTR, bad story and forced relationships. Features many unattractive or even downright ugly women (especially the MILFs, who make up at least half the large cast) and three or four chicks who don’t quite make it all the way to drop-dead gorgeous but come pretty close. I’m talking about faces here (most of the bodies are, of course, incredible), and the beauty of those few girls is dependent upon “camera” angles and facial expressions; generally, with neutral expressions and from a certain range of angles, they’re knockouts. Animation quality is wildly inconsistent, running the gamut from pretty great all the way down to atrocious. I think the handful of pretty great animations (one of which, an animation that’s just a hand job from a plain-faced woman, is probably the best and hottest animation I’ve seen in one of these games) were probably acquired from or farmed out to external sources, and the rest were created by the developer. Most of the latter are terrible-to-average. The first season has very little plot and is pretty much wall-to-wall fucking. When the animations aren’t bad and the participating girls are actually attractive, more than a few scenes are quite hot and had me grinding my John Thomas against the underside of my laptop. At the time of this writing, Season 2 is only up to Episode 3 (Season 1 contains 9 episodes), and an actual plot has kicked in, but it’s pretty silly, which is seemingly inevitable in a harem game. Aside from that, it’s more of the same—although, they’ve finally introduced a MILF who doesn’t look like roadkill. She’s pretty hot, in fact. And watch out for that dialogue—much of the time it’s acceptable, but when it descends into relentless, bantering sexual innuendo, it’s insufferable. Like Beavis and Butthead in smoking jackets with their IQs halved. So, a very mixed bag, difficult to rate. I’m giving it a generous 7/10, mostly because it managed to arouse me a reasonable number of times.

This game is truly a gem. I really enjoyed the story and I can't wait for more! This game has really hot models, great characters with great/different personalities, hot scenes, and a interesting/mysterious adventure. Good luck in the future dev!

This game is honestly hilariously bad. One of the worst example of mindless fuck fest. Let's be honest for a second, I don't buy the came for the porn, stay for the story saying. When I try a game, If I don't find any girls attractive, I'd honestly wouldn't even bother to wait for the next update but the main difference with traditional porn and most of AVNs remain the interractivity and the attachment to the characters. It's not the case here. All the characters can't decently be called characters, they're just a bunch of attractive models ( and saying all is generous, some of them like the doctor have nightmarish faces ) with no distinctive shred of personality. Sure thanks to porn logic, all the main characters are meant to be pussy magnet but here it's beyond ridiculous. You'll honestly have a hard time remembering half of the chick names ( their complete lack of personnality doesn't help either ). Usually, I've got nothing against a couple of forced sex scene or even a forced girlfriend/sexfriend but since the game has zero balance, you're forced to bang at least 6 different girls no matter what. And I'm not talking about casual hook ups, you're forced to be in relationship with the aunt, the cousin, the asian maid, the goth girl and the blonde even if you don't want to. But it's not even the worst part. The game let you pick a girlfriend then forces you to cheat on her with multiple women ( forced and unavoidable scenes like I mentioned ) and finally you're forced to confess that you cheated on her with everything that moves and you dump her ??? What was even the point of picking a girlfriend in the first place The game forced you to do some stuff and then punish you for it ? Why ? It's even more frustrating than doing a kinetic novel. Speaking of choices, don't expect meaningful ones or even a lot of dialogues to pick. 90 % of the dialogues options are just peeking/not peeking. Don't expect any meaningful story or deep relationship either. The game does have pretty nice animations but after 6 or 7 bland scenes with no build up or sense or erotism, it's just boring.

3 stars tell the wrong story, but I have to take the middle here. In a more complex rating I would give 5 stars for the models, posing and scenes, and zero to 1 stars for the story. I really don't get why we have so many devs with really good skills in producing lewd content, that all think they have to tell us some world changing conspiracy space opera to entertain us. No! Just no! No no no! These are fapping games, I play them one-handed or at least with literally growing excitement. Give me some hot girls, a light-hearted background story, do some build-up with the characters and their relationship to the MC and then get into action! I don't want Rambo or Matrix or Star Wars retold, only with some tiddies added. I don't care for ancient gods or mythic bloodlines thrown at me to start an asset parade. A few hot girls in hot clothes doing lewd things is all I want. And goddamn KrKnobb knows how to do this! Every time Summer or Anne are walking into a scene, their tanned bodies barely covered, kinky heels at their feet, every wheel in my lewd brain starts turning - brilliant! Poses, mimic, even most of the kinky dialogs are top notch, bravo Sir! ... ... ... But why the space stuff? why the mysteries, the aliens... nothing of these things add anything relevant to this game. If you start with a sci-fi story, your player know what to expect. But turning a perfectly fine orphan kid story into a sci-fi world rescue mission is just disappointing. And yes I know, the foreshadowing was always there with MC's special features and his dreams, but honestly... I couldn't care less and constantly hoped that MrKnobb would drop the idea and go with the hot babe flow...a flow he definitely mastered. But now? Doesn't look promising at all...

Alternate Existence has good points and bad ones. My main gripe with the game is the story, it loses interest because it is quickly moronic and all the girls just throw themselves at the MC without thinking or anything, except the main ones which drag it out without much sense. And once you get close to season 2 then it just decides to switch the plot completely and go in a totally unwelcome direction which is really offputting. Choices are mostly limited to which girls you prefer or if you want to skip some content, which is also a downside. Render quality varies, especially in the early stages of the game, but it ends up being pretty decent. There are lots of animations as well, some a bit clunky but in general they do their job very well. And girls are different and have different body types which is nice as well, and also different ages which can be easily identified. Sound is very limited though. So, all in all, this one I'm going to drop. Just can't find it interesting enough for my time once I started going through season 2.
