Another World is an adult slice-of-life visual novel by Maelstrom, made with Ren'Py. You play Arvin, a young man who feels detached from everyday life and meets old and new friends. The animated 3D CG style supports a dating-sim structure with more than ten romanceable characters, each carrying separate stories. Your choices influence relationships, personal reflection, and the search for meaning. The game also touches horror and lesbian romance.
The current release is v1.10.1, dated October 4, 2025, and development appears ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, uncensored. The v1.10 update added about 14,000 words, bringing the total to roughly 203,000, plus about one hour of extra gameplay. It also introduced eight new events, two animations, two invite options, six photo messages, refreshed photo messages, a menu overhaul, filesystem restructuring, controller support, and various fixes.
