About Arcanamesis

Arcanamesis is a fantasy adult visual novel made with Ren'Py by BezdarGames, using animated 3DCG art. You play the one conducting a Rite involving fourteen sealed Arcana and fourteen vessels taken beyond the Veil. Gameplay combines kinetic novel presentation with puzzle-like interaction: you apply pressure, open access to each Projection, inspect fears, hidden hungers, and vulnerabilities, then draw Potential to strengthen Resonance and awaken Arcana. Corruption and paranormal themes shape the dark mythology.

The current build is version v0.2, released June 6, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, with no censorship. The update adds Arcana VI, The Lovers, opening a new chamber after another fracture forms in the Veil. It introduces a Breath Phase where collecting more Arcana advances meta-progression, as the Imprint evolves and expects rhythm. The release also improves the interface and rewrites text to better fit the Reliquary's dark mythology. Earlier demo v0.1 was the initial release.

Nice, Atmospheric, intriguing. Keeps the exposition to a welcome minimum, leaving the player to work things out as the game progresses. Bit short, but that's understandable in a new release. Interested to see where this one goes.
