About Aristear Remain
Aristear Remain is a kinetic novel from Astronauts, built with the Others engine and using 2D CG artwork. Its setting is a world similar to modern-day Japan, where magic exists beside science and technology. Although the surface looks peaceful, irregular events happen out of sight, handled by handymen working for the Underground Society. You play Seigi, a strong-willed believer of justice who belongs to a special police force but hides as a handyman. He is assigned to protect Ruru, a mysterious girl with no memories, and their meeting draws people close to him into a larger chain of events. The story blends fantasy, monster girl, and male protagonist themes, with voiced presentation.
The current build is a finished v1.0 release dated December 16, 2016. It runs on Windows and is presented in English, with edited machine translation. Adult content is censored using mosaics.

In a different world that’s similar to modern-day Japan, ‘magic’ exists alongside science and technology. It may seem like a peaceful world, but there are many irregular happenings which commonly occur out of sight. They are the work of the ‘handymen’, individuals who work for the ‘Underground Society’, doing any job so long as it doesn’t break the law. Seigi is a young man who is true to his name: a strong-willed believer of justice. While he is part of a special police force, he currently disguises himself as a handyman. One day, he was assigned the job of protecting a mysterious girl Ruru who lost her memories. Their accidental meeting would set a small gear in motion, which would gradually roll in those closest to him.
