Azrael on the Boundary of Life and Death is a Windows kinetic novel created by Quantize using the Others engine. Its 2D CG art presents a Japanese fantasy-horror story in which you play Rihito Souda, a man who has just begun working at a major construction company. Although he is placed in a department other than the one he wanted, he meets senior employee Reimi Nagashima and gradually develops romantic feelings for her. His job, parents, and friends initially seem to support a good life, but frightening nightmares begin to intrude, become more frequent each month, and slowly take over his days.
Development is finished. The completed build was released on August 23, 2019 for Windows in English, and it is censored. The game contains no sexual content, focusing instead on the unsettling relationship between Rihito’s ordinary work life and the growing dread of his dreams.

Rihito Souda has just started working for a major construction company in April. Even though he is assigned to a different deparment than the one he was hoping for, he meets a senior employee by the name of Reimi Nagashima, and he slowly begins to fall in love with her. He has a rewarding job, kind parents, and awesome friends.... All of these things seemed ideal, until one day he begins to have terrifying nightmares. The frequency of these nightmares increases with each passing month and slowly begins to consume his life.
