Bad Hero is an adult Ren'Py game by Xlab, using 3DCG art. You play Frank, a man released after eighteen years in prison. The city has changed while he was away: a single figure shapes it, gangs move through the streets, and the synthetic drug Mirage spreads. Frank is not content to fade into the background. He seeks control through work, money, and relationships, including a private college job, a search for his former partner and her two daughters, and a bond with two sisters whose father abandoned them. The story mixes street power struggles with school setting and corruption.
The current Episode 2 build is v4.1.4p, released on July 6, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, and is uncensored. The changelog shows ongoing Episode 2 updates. The latest entry adds 171 images and three animations. Earlier Episode 2 patches also expanded the game with hundreds of images, multiple animations, and mini-game content, including holiday-themed updates.
Developer's description
You play for Frank, the protagonist, who was imprisoned for 18 years. And suddenly he was released for unknown reasons. During this time, much has changed. The city was influenced by one person. There are gangs on the streets of the city. They are spreading a new synthetic drug Mirage. Prostitutes do not smile at your meeting. Local merchants pay to others. You have just to go away from the hustle and bustle of the city and live alone. If it is about you, then do it (you may not to read further). But our hero is not like that. He is used to be the best in everything. If he has nothing, he will take it from others. And it is better not to get on his way.

Looks nice, but that's it! No clue where to go, zero animations, and a total waste of time. Too much searching and endless clicking for nothing. A grindy mess that leads nowhere. Don't even bother! Penis

Animation is clunky, Music is obnoxious and way too loud in many scenes, story scenes often seem to have little to do with each other or follow on (randomly having a canon christmas even in the middle of a cop…
