About Be Max
Be Max is an adult point-and-click dating sim by Xamton, built in Ren'Py with 2D CG art and animated scenes. You play Max, an ordinary man in Belleval, a European-inspired city, whose everyday opportunities lead him into intrigue, desire, and lies. The game combines exploration, relationship building, attribute progression, puzzle solving, and a sandbox-style city where new neighborhoods and hidden tensions can be uncovered.
The current build is v0.2, released on July 22, 2026, and development is ongoing. It is available for Windows and Mac, in English, with no censorship. The update adds two characters, one romance route, one new location, three backgrounds, and one new animated scene. It also raises animated scenes to 60 FPS, introduces a quest log, overhauls core systems to reduce bugs, improves Max’s expressions, fixes Larry and Bianca, adjusts Sunset Side, improves sound response, adds a small UI animation, and smooths dialogue flow.
