About Between Shadows: Yuria's Passion

Between Shadows: Yuria's Passion is a kinetic Ren'Py adult visual novel by Shamantr, presented with 3DCG art. It is set five years before Shadows of Desire and follows Yuria, a psychologist, who travels from America to Congo alongside Alvin and Miley for work. You play as Yuria. Alvin is needed at a struggling shelter, where a disturbed refugee becomes fixated on her. The story asks whether she sees his true intentions, or whether she becomes drawn to him instead, while her professional role may lead to trouble. It includes themes of corruption, humiliation, and netorare.

The current build is Chapter 4, released April 9, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. Earlier updates added story renders, animations, and characters such as Nadia, Vito, Gaben, Vlad, Alvin, Miley, Moreau, and Yuria.

5 years before Shadows of Desire , Yuria took a long trip from the USA to the Congo with her husband Alvin and daughter Miley for work, Alvin's job was in great demand in one of Congo's most unfortunate shelters, where there is one particular refugee who is a bit... crazy... He will become obsessed with Yuria the moment he sees her, will Yuria be able to realize the real intentions of the crazy guy? And what if it is Yuria who becomes obsessed with him? Who knows, maybe Yuria's job as a psychologist will be her downfall.
