Between Worlds is a fantasy visual novel made by RolePlayer with Ren'Py. You play a male protagonist who meets many female characters, each with distinct personalities and histories. The game focuses on building relationships and choosing how romances develop while a larger adventure asks you to meet new people and defend the world from a powerful threat. Its presentation uses 3D rendered images and animated scenes.
The current release is v0.2.1 Beta, dated August 30, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is written in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog says this beta adds more than 560 renders and one animation. It also notes access conditions for new scenes: in the love route, select the option to get the girls, while in the netorare route Freya and Evelyn need to be on the sharing route. A future full update is expected to include about 200 to 300 additional renders.
