About Captive Consciousness

Captive Consciousness is an adult visual novel by TinyDogStudio, built in Ren'Py with animated 3DCG scenes. You play a young college man who has just inherited his father's house and wealth after his father and his father's fiancé die in an accident. You invite Hailey, the fiancé's daughter, to live with you, then an unknown woman arrives and pulls you into a dark plot shaped by rich, powerful people with little concern for others. The story mixes horror and romance while choices shape relationships.

The current release is v0.3.0, dated December 11, 2024, for Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English and uncensored. Development appears ongoing, as this is not a final build. The update adds about two hundred images, including redone scenes, an intro video, and a new Alice scene introducing another character. It also removes stat-based gameplay, making choices depend on earlier flags, revises Alice's arrival to feel more plausible, changes Hailey's ice breaker, and adjusts the interface.

You play as a young adult male in his first year of college, dealing with the recent loss of your father and his fiancé that were killed in a tragic accident. As the sole inheritor of your father's house and wealth, you invite Hailey, the daughter of your father's fiancé to live with you. Sometime later, an unknown woman shows up to your home, thrusting you into a dark and twisted plot. Orchestrated by those who hold extreme wealth, power, and a severe lack of empathy for those around them.
