About Cascade Falls

Cascade Falls is a Ren'Py visual novel by Stray Paranormal. You play Steve Reed, a male protagonist who comes home from deployment and learns that his fiancé has married his closest friend. After a long period of depression, a wartime companion brings him to Cascade Falls for a new beginning, where he meets new friends and enemies. The game uses 3DCG animated visuals, choices that affect relationships, secrets, and the outcomes of Steve's journey, plus minigames and side quests. Its adult tone includes humor, romance, and teasing.

The current build is v0.1, released September 5, 2025. It is an initial zone release, so development is ongoing. The game runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, in English, with no censorship. The latest update added the initial zone.

Developer's description

Steve Reed returns from deployment to find his fiancé married to his best friend. Overwhelmed by betrayal, he spirals into years of depression. At his lowest point, he is found by his wartime friend, who brings him to Cascade Falls for a fresh start. Here, in the new place, Steve makes new friend and finds new enemies along the way. This is a story where your choices matter. Every decision you make will shape the narrative, influencing relationships, uncovering secrets, and determining the fate of those around you. Cascade Falls features various minigames and side quests, each contributing to Steve's journey of self-discovery and redemption.
