About Change of Hearts
Change of Hearts is an adult Ren'Py visual novel by cheeky-owl, with 3D-rendered art. You play a male protagonist, an undercover crime-fighting veteran whose past mission cost a partner his life and scarred another. To investigate a prestigious academy linked to the criminals responsible, you take a cover as the school psychologist and try to protect students while keeping your identity hidden. Current build v0.4.5, released March 1, 2025, for Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, uncensored. Development is ongoing. The update adds 12 new events, one animated scene, 595 renders, a new tertiary character named Emily, a new soundtrack, an automatic event start cheat, bug fixes, and grammar fixes. Earlier builds added a gallery, new secondary characters, more events, renders, and soundtrack.
Developer's description
You've spent most of your life fighting organized crime, going undercover and risking your life every day to catch criminals and make the streets safer for all of us. But six years ago, something went terribly wrong. It cost one of your partners his life and left the other scarred both mentally and physically. And crime is thriving now more than ever. Now you get your chance for long-awaited revenge when you learn that the same criminals who killed your best friend are getting involved with a prestigious academy, putting many innocent people in possible mortal danger. You must step in and protect them, but to get the information you need and keep your true identity a secret, you must take on the role of the school psychologist. Do you have what it takes to help everyone you meet in more ways than one, or will your cover soon be blown and your mission be deemed a catastrophic failure?
