About Charlotte
Charlotte is a fantasy adventure game created by Lady Kimaris using RPGM. You play as a noblewoman whose first life ends after her cousin Alexsander ruins their family by joining a failed coup, leading to executions and her own death in the forest. When she wakes up back in time, she has a second chance to take control of the family and become its ruler. The game uses 2D CG artwork and presents a female-led story in a fantasy setting.
The current build is an early version, v0.1.1, released on March 10, 2023, rather than a finished release. It is available for Windows and Mac, with English text and no censorship. The update improves the opening and dialogue, adds a new cover, and includes a tougher puzzle. The changelog also gives a solution for the forest puzzle, using a reversed sequence of directional inputs.
Developer's description
In my first life, my cousin Alexsander brought our prestigious family to ruin. To try to recover the former prestige, he and some nobles tried to stage a failed coup d'état. Because of this, those responsible were led to the guillotine and their relatives to the gallows. I managed to escape into the forest, but in the end, I knew, I would be caught and decided to take my own life. When I opened my eyes, I realized that I had gone back in time, I had been given a second chance, and this time, I'll be the ruler of the family.
