Charlotte's Trip

Her design is really pretty. I didn't like the random attacks you get when exploring/doing quests in the monster areas because I'd get attacked like every 3-5 seconds but you can turn on auto attack and buy items that make you OP so yay for people who don't like the fighting part. There's a lot of different scenes that aren't reused and different outfits/scenarios. I wish there were more NPCs to interact with and that you could equip the outfits outside of the scenes. The game is repetitive as most are and you just do the same stuff until you reach all of the scenes (go outside to fight/get items, come back to give said items, have 1-3 new scenes/scenarios, then go outside again...). There's also multiple shotacon scenes in there which isn't in the tags and I didn't like but just press crtl to skip them.

So in the opening the game first makes you grind to level 3 before you can proceed. This set the tone for the whole game. Once back in town the creator knew how annoying and dull the fight mechanics were so they give you over powered gear from the beginning to either one hit everything, or just avoid the fights alltogether, which I highly recommend. There are a limited number of scenes in which you have no agency. You either partake or you do not. You cannot choose outfits outside of those scenes and they don't really build much on each other. In the end, I guess it was okay except instead of fixing a broken game the creator just gave you a way to blast through the problematic parts. I do not think the juice was worth the squeeze here.

Short game, not great. You might enjoy the sex scenes if you like the characters, though. The writing's terribly dry. There's not really a story, just a fetch quest. It's very repetitive too: just go to the location, half-way through you watch a sex scene of your mom fucking someone. Get help from a guy who asks you to wear a costume while fucking. Beat the boss, return to your mom. Spy on your teacher having sex with someone. That's every stage, rinse and repeat! There's a handful of short, two or three stage, stories you can do in town. They're also pretty much the same as above. A guy asks you to wear an outfit, you do, you fuck, they cum. Very repetitive. Combat is simple. You get the lightning spell, you get the special attack Za-Wei. You use Lightning. You use Za-Wei. I think you get both of those by stage 2, and you use that combination for the rest of the game. Very repetitive. Unless you're fighting a boss. Then you just shield, use the water spell, heal. So, if you like the characters maybe just use the Recollection Room to watch the scenes? If you're confused about why [character] is wearing [outfit]. Don't worry. There's no reason. They just are. Why's the cave-miner want you wear a bunny costume in the cave? Why are you wearing a one-piece swimsuit while fucking a guy in the Inn? Don't worry about it! There's no reason!! Anyway, 2 stars. Dull and exhausting.
