About Chronicles of Riverule: Chickenfeed Calamity

Chronicles of Riverule: Chickenfeed Calamity is a fantasy adventure by Fringer's Pond, built with the Others engine and presented through animated 2D art. You play a young hero in the making during a side-quest. The larger goal is to defeat the Dark Lord and free Riverule. You catch eggs and unlock six splash-screens that grow saucier, with the last fully animated.

This is not the main campaign. The final version was released on November 13, 2025 for Windows and Mac, so development is finished. The game is complete now for all players. It is available in English and contains no censorship. The experience centers on collecting eggs and viewing the unlockable artwork, with the final animated splash-screen as the reward.

The land of Riverule has fallen on hard times. You, a young hero in the making, have taken on the monumental task of one day defeating the Dark Lord™ and freeing the land from his wicked influence. This, however, is not that story. Instead, this is the story of one of the many side-quests you embarked on while on that journey, to gain experience along the way, in more ways than one!~ Catch eggs and unlock 6 increasingly saucy splash-screens, with the final one being fully animated!
