About Close Connections
Close Connections is an adult visual novel by CRAZYCM22, built in Ren'Py with 3DCG art. You play an eighteen-year-old who leaves home to pursue photography and audiovisual marketing, while Emma, an older companion and closest connection, moves with you. The story follows their strained city life, using camera work, late nights, money pressure, and online attention to explore romance, voyeurism, and teasing as support, ambition, attraction, and obsession blur.
The current v0.1 release, dated May 1, 2026, remains an ongoing early build for Windows in English and is uncensored. This version adds a prologue, Days 1 through 5, multiple choice moments with converging paths, a custom UI, the first animated scene, and the main story setup with the first monetized photo session in the story.
Developer's description
At eighteen, you leave your small town behind to chase a future in photography and audiovisual marketing. Emma, your older companion and closest connection, comes with you. The city is expensive, the pressure is constant, and neither of you is where you thought you'd be by now. What begins as a struggle to stay afloat slowly turns into something more complicated. Through a camera lens, late nights, financial desperation, and growing online attention, the line between support, ambition, attraction, and obsession starts to fade.
