Cosplayer Utane is Getting Stolen

2/5 ⭐ This game is PAINFULLY mediocre. You know when you play something and halfway through you're like: “Wait… haven't I already played this exact game 14 times?” Yeah. The story is the same recycled formula we've seen a million times in this genre. Nothing new, nothing original, nothing that made me go “yo hold up, this is actually cooking.” And somehow, despite being so predictable, it still manages to feel like a slog to get through. The gameplay is your standard low-budget RPGM experience. Walk around, click shit, talk to people, repeat until the game finally decides you're allowed to see the next scene. Speaking of scenes, that's probably the only thing keeping this from a 1/5. There aren't that few of them, but the quality and originality are severely lacking. I genuinely don't think there was a single scene where I went: “ THAT WAS PEAK.” Most of the time it was just: “Oh. Okay.” And honestly, thank God this game was short. Because if the dev had doubled the length, I would've needed to file for emotional damages. 2/5. My final verdict would be: Nothing offensively terrible and othing remotely memorable either.
