Crisis Point: Extinction is a lewd platformer Metroidvania game in which you play as headstrong military soldier Alicia as she explores a mysterious alien planet. Set in the not-too-distant future, mankind has finally discovered the secrets to long-distance space travel and, in their haste to explore the stars, are infected with a virus that alters the Y chromosome in developing infants, causing all children to be born female. As Alicia, you must outwit, outshoot, and outlast the various creatures lurking on and below the planet's surface as she locates survivors and explores deep caves, ancient ruins, alien jungles, and more, all while searching for a cure to save humanity. Spoiler: trailer

v0.48.1
-Fixed an issue where all "left side" room transitions stopped working after viewing a CG, until the room was reloaded
-Fixed an issue where scrolling through the Recolor menu with the mouse specifically would not work properly, and would cause Alicia's color palette to become distorted
-Fixed an issue where skipping the first half of the Worm Attacks Camp cutscene, but not the second half, would cause various issues with the cutscene (including a softlock)
-Fixed an issue where skipping the Worm Attacks Camp cutscene at a specific point in the scene would cause Alicia to be unable to move afterwards
-Fixed an issue where sliding into an early cutscene trigger would cause various issues
-Made a slight alteration to a lategame room to force the player to make use of a new upgrade in order to leave the area, to ensure they know how it works
-Slightly increased size of Warped Soldier melee hitbox, to ensure Alicia cannot safely stand directly on top of them
-Fixed an issue where dialogue prompts would no longer respond to mouse inputs after watching the Worm Attacks Camp cutscene
-Fixed an issue where it was possible to "cutscene skip" during the Lucas+Verreda CG (proper CG skips will be added later, but this being possible was an unintended glitch, not an intended feature, and causes tons of issues if attempted)
-Fixed an issue where the Load File screen displayed save file difficulty incorrectly
-Fixed an issue where it was possible to face the wrong direction when using the Wire Shot on a Warped Sentry's shield
-Fixed an issue where Alicia's "solo H-scene" action didn't increment the relevant playthrough stats
-Fixed Force Shot not creating damage numbers when used against the 2nd boss fight

More was planned for this update, but as you all know, I've been going through a major mental health crisis this year. I'm finally getting to a healthy place again, slowly but surely, and next year is looking up for not just myself, but everyone in the Crisis Point team.
I've said it before, but despite the long wait for v0.45, this update isn't any larger than any previous update has been. I wasn't working for a
large
portion of the year thanks to my mental health issues leaving me barely able to get out of bed some days, but I felt the need to get v0.45 out and finished, even if the size of it is disappointing to some people. Honestly, after all this time there's no possible way I could make an update big enough to make up for the long wait, so I've just been crunching hard the past week to get what I could out of the door, so the team can start 2022 fresh and without the weight of 8 months of expectations keeping us down. Speaking of starting fresh, let's look forward to v0.46, shall we?

not good not bad either its mid best part about this game would be overall look pixel art is great but h scenes are bad cgs are mid and short combat is okey story is boring its a clasic humans discorver something and you go as a rescue team and you got stuck too and the planet makes everyone horny wow what a original idea! and they should add fast diolog option i dont wanna skip all of them but i dont wanna wait for voice acting either let me skip one by one
I really enjoyed the game when I first played it, but at this point that was over 2 years and (maybe) 2 updates ago Not only is there less actual content now, but the majority of anything being "worked" on at this point is inconsequential to game-play and I'm not even sure if any of it actually exists or is being made up to prevent being marked as abandoned Color palettes Slight pixel art changes Several non-substantial reworks and rewrites A single thing's gotten new animations since my first play
The development seems to be going slow but, that is probably just my impatience. I cannot deny how brilliantly everything comes together in terms of gameplay, aesthetics and how the h-scenes are integrated into the game. The platforming is incredibly smooth and develops throughout the game giving the movement a lot of complexity while allowing you as the player to properly play the game. The blaster is pretty fun, the system allowing you many configurations and ways to play the game.
Pros.: Played all day long! Game very addictive. And similar with Alien Quest EVE, but this one have pixelated graphics. Cons: Cutscenes are kinda slow and long unlike the actual gameplay. A few graphics bugs in water content, for ex. weapon change while in water.
Game have good mechanics, fun gameplay, pixel art is nice and also animations, beautiful atmospheric soundtrack too. The story is somehow weak in my opinion but that's okay. This game is enjoyable and have full potential whem completed. Solid.
It feels extremely similar to Future Fragments, not only in development limbo but even in gameplay and h scenes and artists? It's eerily similar. I think it's fantastic even if 1/3rd complete feeling, such a great several-hour adventure with a good amount of content. I didn't realize there were optional cg scenarios until the end, I just love the pixel art. Strong recommend!
I've known about this game for a long time but I finally got around to playing it. Took me many gaming sessions over 5+ days to complete. As a dev myself I couldn't be more impressed by what this team has done. They've created an extremely compelling experience and their work is as professional as you could ask for. Name any aspect of the game - mechanics, level design, art, music, story, etc - and I can tell you I honestly can't duplicate a single one of those things. Can't even come close. They've been working on it for 8 years but I couldn't achieve this in 30+ myself. I'm in awe at what they've been able to achieve. Props to them and I'm heading on over to Patreon to support right now...
This a perfect blend of gameplay and porn content. The game itself is basically a metroidvania style game, with a diverse combat, you can use melee attacks, shoot your customizable blaster and use a special charged shot to obliterate enemies. A common motto in metroid-like games, as you progress you'll get new items to help you explore previously unavailable areas. There's also a rudimentary skill system, not a ton of skills to choose from, but just enough to add some variety. It has some nice music, and voice overs too (for some dialogues) if you can believe that. You can turn it off in options if it cringes you out. Visually it has a nice pixel art aesthetic to it, with amazing animations, though some optional porn cutscenes have VN normal hentai art style. Content-wise it's your usual stuff, like male monsters with huge dicks, cute dominant futas, tentacles and slimes. All the porn scenes have a breast expansion variation, which is always nice to see, though it's a shame you can't always walk with huge knockers. As of April 2024 it's still unfinished, but keep an eye on this one.
Hands down, THE best H-game of all time (of course, in my opinion). Despite metroidvania and specifically Sci-fi alien metroidvania being a common genre of H-game, Crisis Point: Extinction is so good at many things that I am not bored of this fact at all. It doesn't matter if the genre is oversaturated if the game itself is so good, am I right? I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's dive straight into why I think Crisis Point: Extinction is the best H-game. First, the artstyle: I don't usually comment on this, but this game has a very noticeable and unique artstyle. The characters, backgrounds, environments, etc. is so lively and full of personality. Second, the soundtrack: God tier soundtrack, this is also something I don't usually comment on, but rarely have I ever heard a good soundtrack from an H-GAME. For me, an H-game might not need to focus a lot on the soundtrack, since you know, hentai games need to use some of their efforts for hentai stuff. So it is not required that an H-game have an excellent soundtrack. But damn how I have fallen in love with these songs. And how they are implemented is amazing. Making one base song for an area and have an alternative version for a sub-area (for example, underwater version, indoor version, etc.) and then switch them around whenever you enter those areas is brilliant! Even if it's not the most creative, heck, it's not like this is the only game that does this, it's amazing still to see an H-game uses this. Third, the combat: The weapons and mechanics in this game are very expressive and free. Weapon chips that allows you to do multiple different build and strategies as well as the change from fire shot to fire melee and the stomp of the iron boots, all combining to make an excellent combat. You can be simple and shot the enemies or get close and get crazy on them. I have also played the old version of Crisis Point: Extinction before, where you still have to aim using movement keys instead of mouse, and I gotta say I appreciate this change a lot, that was one of my original problem with this game until the new update came which completely erases said issue and make the game flows even better than before. Fourth, the exploration: Super well executed, for a metroidvania, I had way more fun exploring than I do with many of the other games of the same genre. All of the little places I can't reach makes me feel curious and thanks to the map system, I won't forget all those places. And whenever I found a new movement item, the game doesn't fail to surprise me on how to solve said problems and it's extremely fun. Kudos to Anon42 for not giving me double jump, I fear for my life how boring these obstacles might be if double jump exists. But again, the game isn't finished yet (holy hell, it isn't, yes I know), so double jump is not out of the question yet. Fifth, the fact that voice acting exists: I ain't asking for much, just the fact that this game has voice acting is already incredible. Yet, the voice acting in here is EVEN BETTER than what I expected! The VAs are incredible, Alicia's lines is full of personality, and during sex scenes she doesn't turn my boner off like 90% of other voices in other games, other side character's lines are also full of personality and comedic at times. Dialogues doesn't feel unnatural, even when we are talking about having sex with aliens for science. I think the game would not have been as good without voice acting really. And finally, of course, the H part of the game: So all of that makes a good game, but is the H part good as well? Of course it does! The animations are really nice, and there's a lot of them you can enjoy. The CGs Birch provides are also amazing part on their own, displaying the amazing works of the artists, the VAs and even the writers as well. One thing I'd also add in this part is how the hentai part of the game flows with the gameplay and mechanics. One thing I always adore is how H-games add sex as apart of their gameplay. It's not always common but sometimes H-games will add mechanics connecting both gameplay and sex together, and Crisis Point: Extinction is wonderful at that department. Although the only problem I might add is that it's a beneficial mechanic instead of one that directly affects your gameplay negatively, which I much prefer. Still, having sex as a way to heal really adds a reason to have sex in this game, instead of being counter-intuitive and add it as a game lost only scene and what not. The libido gauge is also pretty nice as well, and another good way to tie in both the H part and the overall gameplay. In conclusion, I have nothing bad to say about this game, only good, and I mean EXTREMELY good things to say. This game is god-tier work, descended from metroidvania heaven. 10/10, please support Anon42 and their works, it's worth it and they really deserves all the support from you and me.
Calling this a "demo" is an extreme understatement. This game is awesome. It already has much more story, content and greater animations than the average h-game. I have already played a couple hours and still didn't finish the game. I remember having played it very very long ago when it was in an earlier state. Back then I couldn't even finish the first boss-fight with the two worms. Now I simply play on easy difficulty and am fine. Enjoying it a lot! Animations are very nice and you can also review them again later, also you dont have to die to see the h-scenes which is a nice bonus. Also it is voiced which is very rare. The overall experience feels really really good, like a professional game. Unfortunatly it currently has a major bug that when in "gallery" mode, it frequently crashes from time to time. But other than that it already feels like a well developed game, even if it is still under development. I just hope it will end up on a platform like itch.io or something so that I can actually pay for it to support the dev and also keep it permanently in my library. 100% recommendation!
PLAY IT AND SUPPORT IT, THIS IS A RARE GEM. For the record, I played on Story mode because fuck everything related to difficulty. If you ever felt annoyed to all hell that games only integrate porn into defeat and as a complete side thing sometimes, you won't be disappointed to play this. Porn is pretty much the main concept in this, and everything else is just a side thing. Dare I say it - and I don't say this often - this is better than Alien Quest Eve. It's up there with Lorain and Future Fragments in quality. As of writing this review, there are already around 10 enemies in this, and ALL of them have at least two sex animations. Some of them have gangbang animations as well. The scenes are also beautifuly done, it must have been fucking painstaking to get them this good. Some have transitions and different stages, and ALL of them have afterglow animations. All of the content in this game feels well-thought out and polished, even though it's not finished. There's also an insect enemy that I've found...and I'm quite fond of that.
It's a platformer with fun and fluid gameplay, plenty of upgrades and high quality pixel art, and to top it all of it has CONSENSUAL sex, which is extremely rare in adult platformers. Must play adult platformer in my opinion.
The porn's fine, but the game itself is kinda bad. There's good voice acting, but the combat is rather boring, the platforming frustrating, and essentially no inclusion of he porn into the gameplay. This is a glorified porn gallery with a mediocre at best game strapped to it. Just download a save, don't bother playing.
Quality metroidvania with a fun variety of sprite animations. Easily one of my favorite lewd games. Quality metroidvania with a fun variety of sprite animations. Easily one of my favorite lewd games. Quality metroidvania with a fun variety of sprite animations. Easily one of my favorite lewd games.
I really enjoy the combat and layout of this game. Great voice acting and story, I look forward to more content and updates coming out in the near future. I get lost when coming back to it, so maybe a reminder feature of where I can go would be helpful, i figured it out after a while
I loved every second of this game from the well thought out storyline to the hentai scenes i played it in one go non stop, the game has a lot of cool mechanics that allow you to complete all of the different puzzles around the map that are not too hard neither too easy which makes it really fun to complete them, the map is really well made and is really intuative to go across it wich made me want to explore every part of the map and have it noted down on the minimap. There are a lot of collectables through out the map that upgrade your character from learning new skills to different blaster shots wich make it so that you can customize your own fighting style or a different blaster mode for the diferent enemies that you can find around the map. The animations are really fun to collect and look really good also loved the variants you can get of the scenes like the threesomes, and the breast expanded scenes, the cgs are also a nice adition to the game because of the in depth narration. Again loved every second of the game, And i am definetly buying it when it comes out.
v0.45: Incredibly promising; mainly held back by somewhat scuffed controls and improper gamepad integration. I can easily see this being a 5/5 by the time it reaches full release, if not sooner. Pro: + You unlock h-scenes in the gallery upon defeating the enemy, enemies won't grapple Alicia unless you initiate it, and Alicia gains health from having sex with enemies. Alicia's partner also temporarily stop attacking her. + Playing on normal, the game seems well balanced without needing to heal up frequently. + Presentation is quite nice + You get to keep any map progress and items you picked up when you die. + It's a solid metroidvania Neutral: = No backdash (yet?). Aside from my preference for hit-and-run tactics in games like this, the melee attack in CPE moves Alicia forward so you nearly always end up taking damage because of it. = Maps are a little too big and the backtracking can be a bit unweildly until you realize you need to use the keyboard to activate the note function on the map = You can't speed through cutscenes. They're fully voiced (neat), but you can't manually advance dialogue so you have to actually listen to the whole thing. = There's a "no more males are being born" background plot which explains the space exploration, but it never really comes up and it's not like humans really need an excuse to go to space. Maybe it'll be more relevant in the final game or if the devs are planning to release more games in this series. Con: - Gamepad integration isn't really there, even if you happen to be using an entirely normal Xbox controller. For example, the game will prompt you to press 'h' or the 'action key' to use a new ability so you then need to go into the options to see which button has been mapped to that. - Controls are a bit scuffed for gamepad users. Unless you're holding the joystick directly down there's a pretty good chance Alicia will more forward instead of crouching. - For whatever reason, going into the status menu sometimes set my blaster to its basic setting so then I'd need to go back in to reselect the proper bullets. - The game crashed on me twice, though I'm a compulsive saver so I never lost any real progress.
This game is fantastic, a mixture of Castlevania in a Metroid Setting, but everything is horny and want to Fuck you. The Female Protagonist, Alicia is like a Hentai version of Samus but with no armor suit is a great character and love all of her hentai scenes with the enemies, monsters and bosses. My favorite scenes are the Sentry and the Poison Alraune (Ver 0.42). And yes, I Love FutaXFemale Stuff. Birch's comments are hilarious. The Gameplay is flawless, many types of weapon fire, new gadgets, upgrades and new enemies with very balanced, but hard boss fights. Nothing is too easy. The game over screen is having consensual sex with the person you just lost to, just have sex and avoid confrontation A great recommendation for both gamers and hentai players. ( Warning: there is some insects and odd alien sex involved)
Game is very glitchy and the controls are just horrible. What I played as far as I got in before it just froze seems good. But other than that, it's just horribly optimized. The game freeze right when you pick up the health upgrade and also shows a null when you pick up the blaster which doesn't allow you to shoot. It also wouldn't allow me to progress beyond the starting area pretty much.
It's basically Metroid. The controls perhaps aren't AM2R tier tight, but for an amateur game they're damn good. I never got too lost, I liked the power-ups, and the gun-card system is really, really cool. The masturbation system to heal is fantastic. Crisis Point gets right what so, so many other games get wrong when it comes to the "losing is fun" game design. I got a kick out of displacing the scientist enemies by luring them in and then jumping past them too! Very cool to see how that system works into the general flow of gameplay. Audio is pretty good with some exceptions. The Sentry enemy needs a gag, seriously. "GET BACK." "GET BACK." "GET BACK." I had to turn off the enemy voices to retain my sanity. Other than that, I'm a fan of the general game audio. The voice acting is a bold and divisive choice. Of course it's entirely optional, but I think there's great room for developing a unique feeling for the story. Crisis Point seems to be taking a fairly light-hearted approach to its story and the dialogue reflects that. Rod quipping about Alicia "researching" what she's captured and in general poking fun at her while she's losing her mind to horny definitely lightens the mood. I personally was hoping for a more serious atmosphere, but that's a very subjective opinion. It wouldn't make sense to fundamentally change how those cutscenes etc. work this far into development. As such, my only suggestion would be to simply get more voices. I haven't checked the credits, but it sounds like you've got one VA each for all male and female voices. Ya'll are doing good work, but when the first alien lady started talking I was really confused. Graphically, I think the only thing I'd ask for is more visually engaging backgrounds. The different areas do feel distinct, but only the catacombs really drew me in and even it was fairly static. I'll point to the later GBA Metroid games for areas that feel alive, purposeful, or otherwise dynamic. Some animated background details would go a long way to making the game feel professional in my very humble opinion. That's most of the content out of the way. Other comments would be to maybe lower the health a bit on the "bee hives" and maybe slow down the rifle trooper's reaction times a bit. I hesitate to recommend lowering the difficulty considering that the player has effectively infinite health, but those two enemies were somewhat annoying to fight. Oh, and I never had issues with game stability other than three crashes... which is actually a fair few. All three had to do with H-scene handling. The first was the first time I submitted to the tentacles. It's possible there was dialogue playing when it started and immediately crashed. The second time was upon masturbating to completion for the first time, and the last crash was after a forced masturbation after getting drugged in the jungle area. Great game. It's genuinely fun to play and the pixel and drawn/written sex is great. +5000 social credit score for handling sex with enemies well. You've earned a backer
