About Dancing with the Winds

A medieval fantasy visual novel made with Ren'Py by Warthief, Dancing with the Winds uses 3DCG artwork and follows Tetbold, a quiet peasant farmer living with his wife on a neglected farm. The story begins when two armored strangers arrive, pulling the couple into conflicts tied to distant kingdoms, hidden loyalties, and dangerous truths. The game is presented as a narrative adventure, with a male protagonist and a focus on character relationships and slow-burning political tension.

The current build is Episode II, released on July 24, 2025 as version 0.2, so development is still ongoing. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Android, in English, and is uncensored. The latest update continues directly from Episode I, placing Tetbold deeper into the clash between the Antillean crown and rebel refugees from Halykos. While hiding his true identity, he must pose as Luigi, the late rebel king, and face leadership choices that may endanger himself and those who follow him. The update also expands relationships with Arwa, Zibeline, and Constance.
