Danger BLUE
by pazzonerogames
Danger BLUE is a story focused adult VN with comedy, drama, tension, and romance. What’s the game about? You play as a guy who leaves everything behind to move to a small town in the middle of nowhere, taking on a job at a cemetery. Which is a bit strange, considering you had everything in the city—a great job, a fantastic girlfriend, and an active social life. On the surface, it seems like a fresh start—you meet new people and slowly blend in. But your past life in the city starts catching up with you. What are you running from? Are you in danger? And why would you abandon everything—especially when it’s clear you’re still madly in love with your ex-girlfriend?

v0.2.5 I'll not ruin any ideas on the blue flames. I don't play with the sound on so i can't rate that. i find the bad jokes and such a way to keep things light, just like your pal andreas does. Time seems to pass fast playing this game, so it does not feel very long, but i liked it. The renders are Zesty lol (game joke), and the animations adequate. It's very much character building right now, so i'm interested in where this is going. I have a few ideas, but not going to share them I look forward to the next update. It's a little too early in development to give 5 stars, but it will get there i believe.
Version 0.2.5 reviewed The story of a young man running away from his troubled past, who ditches city life for a fresh start in a quiet town. I did not finish this episode, so please take this review with a grain of salt. Pros: 1- Decent-looking characters. 2- Some nice renders and set design. Cons: 1- Stiff writing that attempts to be witty but falls short of the mark. 2- The music is dreadful and totally immersion-breaking. I found this to be the main reason why I could not continue playing. 3- Poor scene design. A girl shows up at a cemetery to do community service wearing a tank top, leather pants, and pumps. They make fun of it in-game, but it's nonsensical. There are other scenes where the writing falls short in a similar manner. Final verdict * Boner Rating - Semi-hard. Some redeeming qualities, but lacking in many areas. If the writing could be improved and the soundtrack completely overhauled, this game might show some promise. Unfortunately, in its present state, it's a no-go for me. Good luck.
Review Version : v0.1 Overall Rating : 4.5/5 With this project not having any prior reviews I'd figure it's time to write up a quick one. Story It's clear from the get-go that the dev has a story he wants to share with the audience. and doesn't compromise the plot or characters in trying to rush through it. While the underlying mystery may lean a bit more towards the obvious, it still does it's job by engaging the player with questions such as "what happened to me", and "what's going on with this town". It's difficult to discuss much more on the topic of the story due to being in the very early stages, but the dev is showing quite a bit of promise with what's already here. Characters So the game focuses quite a bit on two primary LIs: Lori and Chloe. There's technically a third LI in the form of your ex, but that's significantly more complicated than what this review is intended to discuss. Regardless, every character has some kind of intro that showcases their personality which at least avoids the common issue of one dimensionality. As for the main LIs themselves, it's quite obvious they've received far more attention as both Chloe and Lori are distinct from the rest of the cast. Lori is an archetypal hoodlum girl with an extroverted personality. Despite being antagonistic most of the time she appears to have a rather tender side to her if the player manages to gain some chemistry points with her. Chloe serves as the opposite as she's someone whose severely introverted, but seems to also have a deviant side to her. In following the "opposites" trend, the best way to approach Chloe is to focus more on love rather than chemistry. Despite that difference, both her and Lori seem to require quite a bit of time investment before they'll pursue anything with the player, which is a breath of fresh air considering how many projects forego any kind of proper build-up. Renders There's not too much to add to this section aside from the overall quality of the renders being above average. The primary positive though stems from the dev not abusing post-processing effects to create artificial "cinematic" scenes that seems to plague almost all of the highest rated projects on this forum. While the character models are box standard DAZ assets they're at least proportioned realistically, which makes sense considering the underlying story is potentially dealing with a rather heavy theme. I personally find it refreshing that not all models are supermodels sporting a perfect hourglass figure, toned abs, and pop idol makeup. I'll definitely have to come back to this review to update it once a few more updates have been released, but I wanted to publish something quick just to get this game a bit more visibility. It's a promising initial release with a dev that does seem to care about his project. Edit 2/17/2026: "Here be spoilers" To spoil some of the magic behind the mystery of the blue flames and lights, I'm fairly confident in stating that it's a direct representation of death (the flame) and reincarnation (the lights). Danger BLUE slightly modifies the symbolism behind the two in that our MC isn't dead ( yet ), so it's more so used as clues rather than an explicit representation. The beeping sounds (vitals monitor), visual glitches (struggling consciousness), and darkened scenes allude to the claim that we are indeed knocking on deaths door, but the story we're experiencing is a dream based on characters that have been transformed from their real world counterparts. Of the clues, the darkened scenes are perhaps the most ominous if they're indeed representing each time our MC is about to die.
