Dead-End City Blues OD Edition

A short game that wold get 4 stars if it didn't feel as if someone started making +18 Slay the spire and gave up before finishing level 1. A bit too easy and unbalanced. Not that it matters, considering you can start again with all cards and items if you lose the game.

Feels more like a prototype than a finished product, but it's pretty good for what it is. If this had better gameplay balance (it's fucking brutal) and was about 4x the length, it'd be a 10/10. CGs are fucking incredible.

really short game scenes and dialogue are voiced to progress the game you have to lose to the final boss or else you would have to keep replaying for the perfect deck also a zombie enemy is more difficult than the last boss lol

The game isn't bad, which is a thing I realized after few resets trying to get no-sex run. When I gave up was the time I found that the deck saves for the next run with your cash and boosts as well. It kinda sucks that the game basically forces you to lose a few times, but it's still fun to play. Anyways the story is short and nothing special about it. I like the scenes though.

Pretty Fun game, love the battle mechanics & deck buildings, character design, h-scenes & animations are pretty good, smooth gameplay, no bugs/crashes or performance issue. Downsides is it's just too short, story is neither bad or good.

Gameplay is short, and takes at most 1 hour depending on whether you let yourself get defeated for naturally gaining H-Scenes or not and your general skill around card-builders. It doesn't feature many battles or cards(only 40-ish) to use. It's not bad, but also not great either. H-Scenes are amazingly good. Lengthy, fully voice acted and animated scenes, + corruption progression with every consecutive loss does wonders. If you're not looking for a small and quick gameplay loop or loathe having to stand around and do nothing until your enemy stops beating you and starts beating his meat in you, the game already lets you unlock all scenes no hassle in the settings. Fantastic and fun game, and you can really tell the effort has gone into making it actually feel good to play. Scenes are fully voice acted, can be fast forwarded or rewound at will, and there's even a countdown to let you know when the cumshot is gonna happen!! That's a QoL feature that seems obvious to have but I've never seen it actually implemented except in this game. Brilliant work.

The plot is uninteresting (the world is fucked again), the combat system is uninteresting and tight (can't remove cards from the deck), bugs critical didn't find, dialogues are subjectively okay, there is no censorship, animations are not bad, I liked the art, the sound is normal (not catching, but not annoying). In short, 3 stars, because it's not disgusting, but it's not great either.

i think 3.5 star would be a fair rating for this game. being a unity game, the scenes are indeed animated with jiggle physics. so the production value is clearly higher than RPGM games. the game play is reasonable for the card-battle genre. the down side is this game is quite short. i beat it in 30 minutes. and it does get a little repetitive. as for the pregnancy mechanic, if you get pregnant, its game over.

Drawings, animation and porn are stellar. Actual gameplay is... well the card system is nice, but the difficulty is through the roof. You need a perfect deck to have a shot at winning, and with no possibility to grind money + random cards + can only remove 1 you have no margin for mistakes. Since you can escape fights to retry them, you might get away with the right RNG (if your deck is solid enough). But other times you virtually cannot defeat an ennemy with the cards you've been dealt. Expect several game over before you manage to beat the game. Anyways, 2* because story is uninteresting, gameplay is not my thing but at least the porn is good. And bonus * for gallery unlock so 3* total, ain't that bad.

Don’t get tricked by the nice art. This is an exceptionally mediocre Slay the Spire-like and the scenes are uninspired to put it mildly. Overall, it is very soulless, I’d even go so far as to call it shovelware despite the art.

5/5 Loved it. Amazing FMC design, with amazing VA. Gameplay is super fun. Can be tough at times though. Art is of super high quality with animations. Fetishes are diverse. Biggest critique is that the game is way too short.

One star because art and animations are good. Game play balance is disgustingly bad against the player. Its a restart battle simulator. Can't remove cards from your deck so your stuck with filler that can be detrimental.

Out standing game play, the deck building aspect is very fun. While it lacks the ability to cut cards from the deck you can build a number of different decks that can turn the flow of combat on its head. Each enemy has a unique gimmick to make each one a fresh experience. Story is almost entirely arbitrary, a new drug hits the streets, the main character recognises the drug and decides to hunt down the source and exterminate them. There is some side story but it has no bearing on the situation. Sexual content is a very well done artistically but the dialouge is poor. They might be better in a future translation if we get one but that is not likely. additionally it has the same problem many unity games with diolouge during sex do. If feels way more clunky than a Renpy scene, which is most likely just a quirk of Unity games. Most enemy has a defeat scene with text that changes based on how many times you have lost total. Mostly ignore the words and enjoy the animated loops and get out TDLR: An incredibly fun game with good NSFW art but poor story and a limited number of scenes.

Definitely enjoyed actually playing the game. Not grindy, not long either. Not convoluted. Not crazy amount of scenes but enough. Been too tryhardy to lose on purpose but there are defet scenes for main story battles and there are scenes that you can unlock on the sidelines while playing so you can get artifacts, cards, money and such. Quite good cardgame to kill 2-3 hours, definitely worth it.

Its really good. I don't know if its because card battler games are not popular for some reason, or because of the "fail upwards" quirk of the game, but seeing this game at less then 4 stars makes me sad. It has nice animated scenes, the gameplay is fun and complex enough to be interesting but simple in its rules, like most good games, and its very forgiving if you play it long term. Personally I also like the girl's body type, somewhat short with pale skin and medium size breasts are great. Quite literally the only thing I can complain about is not having enough. It doesn't last long enough. I want more cards, more enemies, more scenes (sideways view doggy please), more store items, more difficulty and play modes. If there was a game that needed a big DLC, this one is it. I don't know what else to say, please play it.

It's a good game. Gameplay is classic slay the spire card battler, not much to say. The scenes are good, the animation and art quality are both high, nicely voiced too. Nothing to complain about. If gameplay is not your thing you could always cheat engine to win fight and just enjoy the scene. 5/5

It's a Good Small game, a one with a decent concept 4/5 for me as I had fun but also had my struggles. Thinking is required for this game if you want to Beat it. If you want to Avoid Sex/Rape , it is a "possible" thing to do however it's not Easy at all You got to pick your cards carefully if you want to Beat Stage 03 as the game really did not think you would go and beat the Stage 03 up. This is how I beat it after multiple retries (Starting card "The Zone", follow by "Duck", "Boxing slip" and "Liver blow") After beating Stage03 , you have access to S1 , you can use Pick Pocket & intentionally losing to it to farm tiny amount of Money repeatedly, just remember NOT to kill the S1 target and to use Auto-clicker, Shop also refresh every time you fight S1 and lose, getting items and cards as much as you want to GRIND For it. (this took me like eh...2 hours to grind every items just by repeating the pickpocketing part) Would I recommend buy it? perhaps but not at Full price sadly, too little "content" to offer to justified the purchase, buy it on Sale.
