About Dead Forest
Dead Forest is a Ren'Py visual novel by Games Manul. You play as Laki, a male protagonist whose presence is linked to the vanishing of beastmen. To break this curse, he travels to the Dead Forest, a dangerous place where few return. The story explores a furry, gay romance and mystery, following Laki as he meets a shaman, a ghost, a young magician, and the stranger Claude. The 2D CG artwork supports the visual novel presentation overall.
The current build is a demo with an R18 DLC, not a final release. It was released on April 10, 2023 for Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, and it is uncensored. The latest changelog marks the demo's initial release for this version.
Developer's description
Laki knows the fate of the outcasts firsthand: beastmen disappear if they are close to him. To break this curse, Laki travels to the Dead Forest, a place from which almost no one has ever returned. But who will be the key to the secrets of his fate and the mysteries of the forest? A shaman and keeper of destinies, a ghost of the past, or a young magician who lost his way home? And who is the mysterious stranger, Claude, accompanying Laki on his journey?
