About Distant Horizon

Distant Horizon is an adult Ren'Py visual novel by IziRider, presented with 3D CG animated visuals. You play a male protagonist whose last trip on the colonisation vessel ERSS Babylon is meant to support the crew and 1,000 colonists. During a five-year voyage, he wakes on an unknown ship with a woman he does not know and a strange AI. The story follows his search for what happened to Babylon, where his wife went, and how he reached the Distant Horizon. Themes include sci-fi, romance, and voyeurism.

The current build is version v0.7, released April 6, 2024, for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It is available in English and Hungarian and is uncensored. The game remains in development. The latest update was described as short, arriving after a little over three years. It added two new scenes, one near the beginning and one near the end.

Developer's description

Our hero and his wife embark on their final journey aboard the colonisation ship ERSS Babylon. The lives of the crew and 1000 colonists depend on them. But the five-year journey takes him further than he thought. He wakes up on an unknown spaceship with no one but a woman he doesn't know and a strange AI. What could have happened on board Babylon? Where did his wife go? Who is this mystery woman? And how did our hero get to the Distant Horizon?

v0.7 Well, after a little over three years, Distant Horizon has finally received a new update. As I’ve mentioned several times, this one isn’t very long.
