About DxR -A Better Tomorrow-

DxR -A Better Tomorrow- is an adult adventure game made by MaraStudio using an engine listed as Others. It presents a post-nuclear world where radiation has ruined many water sources and farmlands. Foundations and politicians hoard what remains, using law and taxation to strip people of rights, while the wealthy Company dominates society. A resistance group called the Liberation Front, led by a young scientist pursuing freedom, fights to free humanity from the Company. The game uses 2D animated CG artwork and focuses on dystopian and fantasy themes.

Development is ongoing, and the current build is v1.03, released on January 4, 2024 for Windows in English. The game is censored with mosaics. A later update on January 15, 2024 addressed a freeze during urban battle and corrected some text errors. An earlier v1.02 change on October 26, 2023 fixed a forced termination caused by skills and another typo.

Developer's description

After a nuclear war, many water sources and farmlands are contaminated with radiation. Foundations and politicians controlled the remaining resources and used laws and tax systems to deprive the people of their rights, while the "Company", with its vast wealth and power, effectively controlled humanity. The Liberation Front, a resistance organization led by a young scientist who harbors a certain ideal of freedom, is unyielding to reality and attempts to liberate humanity from the Company.
