About Ellie Confidential
Ellie Confidential is a Ren'Py adult visual novel by BUTTANDHONOR, presented with 3D rendered visuals. You play as Ellie, a recent graduate who wants to become a police officer and must work through department politics while pursuing a long career. The story follows her as she aims to become a detective, solve cases, and meet familiar and new people both inside and outside the police department. It has a parody tone and includes teasing situations, while warning that loyalty can be dangerous and that hidden motives may put the player in risk.
The current build is v0.2, released on February 21, 2023, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. The latest update raised all images to 1920x1080 resolution and added automated checks to help prevent similar issues. It also fixed a bad variable reference in the Mel bathroom scene, stopping a crash, and included another automated test for that fix.
