About EscapeR
EscapeR is a Windows title from Pasture Soft, built with an Others engine and presented in 2D animated style. You play female protagonists Kaori and Natsuki across two horror-themed escape scenarios. In Kaori and the Haunted House, you guide Kaori through a Western-style mansion filled with evil spirits, using puzzles to find a way out. In Natsuki and the Cursed Village, you attempt to leave a cursed village inspired by the urban legend Kisaragi Station. Both parts include light action elements, but the design is intended to be accessible and enjoyable for a broad range of players.
The current build is version v1.0, released May 29, 2025. Development is ongoing. It runs on Windows and is available in English. Adult content is censored with mosaics.
Developer's description
In Kaori and the Haunted House, you control the heroine Kaori as she solves puzzles to escape from a Western-style mansion haunted by evil spirits. In Natsuki and the Cursed Village, inspired by the famous urban legend “Kisaragi Station,” you must escape from a cursed village. Both games contain some action elements, but are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all players.
