About Faded Bonds

Faded Bonds is an adult interactive visual novel by Whispering Studios, built in Ren'Py with animated 3D CG visuals. You play a middle-aged man whose successful business life is threatened by personal addictions and health problems. After waking in a hospital, he is told he has one last chance to change his future while thinking about death, company succession, and money. People who once abandoned him return, and choices shape multiple endings. The game presents male-protagonist drama with corruption, harem, and school-setting themes.

Current build is v0.3, released May 11, 2024, and development appears ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, uncensored. The latest changelog adds a new chapter and fixes a problem with the daughters' names. Earlier versions introduced additional renders, animations, and events, showing continued story expansion.

Developer's description

You take on the role of a middle-aged man who runs a very prosperous business but who, because of his numerous addictions and other issues, is on the verge of death. When you awaken in the hospital, the medical staff informs you that this is your final opportunity to make changes in your life. The accident made you think about what happens when you die, who will take over the company, and how you will divide your money if you were to die. Many of the people who abandoned you in the past will now appear in your life again. This is an interactive VN. It has several endings, depending on the choices you make in the game
