About Fields of Spring
Fields of Spring is a Ren'Py kinetic novel by Eymon, presented with 2D CG and furry character art. You play Mikey, a male protagonist who has just turned 18, so he is already an adult rather than merely approaching adulthood. His underperforming soccer squad is set to face a preppy high school across town in an exhibition match, while he tries to handle schoolwork, friendships, bullies, dances, and girls. The story is a romance-centered, gay-themed visual novel with no sexual content.
The current build is v1.1.0, dated August 13, 2023, and the project is still in development. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English text and no censorship. The latest changelog entry identifies v1.1.0 as a Tuesday update following the Monday initial release v1.0.0.
Developer's description
Turning 18 is a milestone for anyone, and for Mikey, it means he's not just headed toward adulthood... he's already there! His mediocre soccer team's scheduled for an exhibition match with the preppy high school across town. Do they even stand a chance? Navigating life as an adult and relearning teamwork has never been more tiresome. To top it all off, he's still got all the normal problems of grades, friends, bullies, school dances, and girls…
