About Footprints of the Future

Footprints of the Future is an adult sandbox game made in Ren'Py by Vita. You play a young male protagonist living an ordinary life with his mother and sisters, trying to protect his family while dealing with the loss of his father. After a dream in which someone says they are your future, you make choices that shape whether that vision comes true. The visuals are 3DCG and animated, and the story explores corruption and teasing.

The current build is v0.2, released July 14, 2023, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. The latest update adds a calendar system and several family scenes, including multiple branching paths for a shared TV moment, interactions based on different stages, and a club scene with Whitney. It also includes new scenes involving the mother, big sister, and little sister, with selectable outcomes depending on earlier quests.

There is nothing to complain about. But someday in a dream you saw someone who introduced herself as your future. Was he telling the truth? Was what he said really going to happen?
