Snow is not an uncommon sight in April in one of the northernmost towns of the country. Yukito is a well-known honor student at the local school, unable to leave those alone that need his help. As a second year student the new spring will bring him new feelings in his teenage life. Feelings that will soon turn into beautiful realisation.
Spoiler
In this game there are five heroines, first there’s the transfer student from Canada, Bethly. She loves to paint but only knew the very basics of Japanese before she came to Japan. Next up there’s Hinata, a junior at school who also can’t leave someone alone when they need help. Momiji is Yukito’s classmate and sits next to him in class. She wants to make it onto the big stage of theater plays.
Also aiming for the top is figure skater Mizuha, Yukito’s childhood friend. He gets to meet her again after 2 years abroad. Last of the heroines is his step sister Yuzuki, who somehow feels far away. But maybe that’s because it’s only been one year since she and her mother moved in with them.
From here the story will only have one goal. After so many years, Yukito’s life will take a big turn in just 3 seasons. This is a story of love–
I write this review despite ending only one route by now. I don't know if other routes would satisfy my lonely a*s like Hinatas' but what I know for sure I saw a wholesome and 100% positive story. Characters? Very likeable and memorable characters with great development. Visual side? Really fitting the story and the vibe of the plot. Also character design really up my alley. Sound / Voice acting? Since Japanese VA are professional, here it is also very nice. As for music I never notice if it is good, I notice if it gets in the way - here it was good enough so i wouldn't notice anything bad. Translation / Bugs / Overall playability? Translation is very good, I did not notice any spelling errors. Also VN runs super smooth and the UI is ok. Was it long? I can't really remember another VN that i played which had such long routes despite having a total of five. It can easily be described as very long (>50h) since I abandoned counting hours, when being on common route I passed 12h, and from what I see - the route after was even longer Did I see anything bad here? The story (at least the route that I played) covers somewhere like 10 years but the characters had their appearance barely changed. If this is the biggest flaw - it speaks volumes. To make a quick review of above: Long, wholesome, romantic and satisfying VN with really original, kind of perfect characters, 5/5 absolutely!

I've played through 2 of the 5 heroines that Tsurezure Scans have translated before they dropped the TL and I can wholeheartedly recommend this visual novel for you. It's a cutesy slice of life visual novel with 2 parts, one during high school life where you fall in love with one of the heroines and the other is an after story where its about the MC and your chosen heroines life after high school and have become adults. If you were a big fan of tonework's previous works such as Hatsukoi 1/1 or Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai, then you will undoubtedly enjoy Gin'iro Haruka. I just pray that more translators have picked up and can appreciate more visual novels from this company because I think that they are top notch in terms of art style, writing, and character design.
