Following the events of Glassix (Prequel, not required to have played it to enjoy Glassix 2), the succubus Lily got her hands on the angel Anael and mainly her divine powers. With those new powers under her control, she started a series of experiments to gather even more power, or was it simply to entertain herself? Her latest design was to abduct a poor soul, you, and push this soul into the lives of various random citizens. By doing so, your actions would generate karma, from good or bad actions, which should could then harvest from you. On the upside, Lily allows you to use parts of her powers by using the karma you earn which gives you access to a wide variety of powerful spells which will make you tasks easier the more tasks you complete. Isn't it what we call a win-win situation?

Version Reviewed: v0.19.0 Overview: Come back in like 10 years This is going to be a somewhat unusual review because this really isn't a game yet. It's a partially implemented game engine with an extremely short demo included. I played the original Glassix a long time ago and found it to be an ambitious game that simply grew too large and complex. There were hundreds of places to visit, a sprawling list of events that were obnoxiously difficult to trigger, way too many stats to grind, etc... I had hoped the developer had learned his lesson in the first game and decided to focus more on developing a story and making the game fun. But then the free roam option opens up and I discover hundreds of mostly identical locations except now they're floating in the void and there is a loading screen to get to any of them. There's a story, but it dead ends almost immediately with no action, leaving the player to trigger the generic sex scenes if they want or grind up stats on the students (you are a teacher) for a couple of example achievements. There is a fairly extensive "magic" system, and the spells that are implemented do work, but there is no game reason to choose anything except the one that lets you see the sex scenes. The graphics are improved over the first game, but aren't improved over your average PS2 game. I really wanted to rate this game higher because it's not yet another Ren'Py sandbox sisterfucker, but it needs a ton more development before I can even give it a fair rating, and my initial impression is that it's going to suffer from the same problems that plagued the first game. Performance was a bit iffy on my somewhat older but generally capable computer. I didn't run into any bugs which is a point in this game's favor. Given the state of development I was expecting more crashes and janky behavior. The closest thing to a bug is that when you switch scenes it hits the characters with a big physics event causing the boobs to jiggle around wildly for a second or so.

SHORT: Bad playability. Bad UI. Ugly graphics. LONG: i played glassix and really liked it, so i have tried this game several times by now. I have downloaded it 3-4 times so far, and everytime game is deleted within 30 minutes. My intuition tells me it is a sandbox, i just press ctrl-skip everything and try to explore. But i cant procede anywhere. So i just delete the game. Maybe it is my fault, for not reading shitton of text in small font, i just dont feel like it. This game does not make me excited for me to dive into it, so it is easy for me to abbandon it. That was my expirience so far. Everytime i feel like "this game probably has no content for now, i will try next time". And only because i liked first glassix. Usually i just ignore games with such bad graphics.

As of v.0.17.0 I will start off by saying I give everything a chance. However, everything you can possibly think of is wrong with this version. First off the name. The developer himself says that this is a prequel to Glassix, and you do not require playing Glassix to play this one. Great. But... why is it called Glassix 2...? Surely you could think of better names for a prequel. The current name does not fit the intention. Secondly it seems like the art all around the board has regressed. Everything from the models to the UI to the actions each character takes to the setting of the environment. Like the developer took the lowest quality free models, environments, and props he could get his hands on from the early 2000's. Bud... technology advanced since then. You have so many models/environments/props/scenes on our site to choose from and you actively picked the worst possible ones imaginable. Even if this were just an alpha or proof of concept that's still bad. The writing at least appears the same as the first one so I know for sure that hasn't regressed, but when playing the game my mind was so heavily focused on the terrible art that i honestly had trouble focusing on the writing portion to get a good feel on that. This game needs a lot of work and definitely needs to be renamed. You don't make a movie and start off one year, next movie in the installment is a prequel, and the next after that is a sequel. Makes no sense. I'd like and appreciate the dev to give this game serious thought or at least a makeover before continuing. I see a lot of games out there do mid-progress overhauls, but his needs it for sure.

-Tiny unreadable UI? Check -Extremely minimalistic unreadable Ui that still manage to to hide part of the image (even though there isn't much to see or hide anyway)? Check -Walls of text packed in a tiny unreadable and horrible UI? Check -Useful pieces of information somewhere in those walls of text? Missing Just for that, it's already 1 star. Then, the "game", or "proof of concept", huh... well... what is there to say... What is there at all? It's ugly and there is nothing to do. Yeah, I think I'm summarizing a little too much, but that thing is ugly as F, and extremely unintuitive, I don't want to even waste time trying understand how it is supposed to work. This is not a proof of concept, this isn't even a concept. It just shows the game is somewhat in real time3D with a fixed camera, but with empty environment and static characters, ok, they breathe, wow. I've given speeches in amphitheaters, I'm pretty sure I could see people as more than some color blobs very far away. Someone said adding adult mods into the sims would achieve a better result, I 100% agree. There isn't a single positive thing to say here, so i'll stop here, I think I made my point.

Hello, I do not know what kind of computer you have, but mine (which I am very proud of for its performance) almost burned down, in a half-empty picture, from this "mega cool" graphics game. Judging by the textures, they are twisted to maximum performance, over saturated with color to the point of impossibility. There are a lot of locations, despite the fact that they are all carbon copies and there are no clear names (unique names) for these locations. Make the download delay between locations so that the video card has time to cool down.
