Goodnight Kiss: Sugar and Spice is a Ren'Py visual novel from Dirty Secret Studio. You play an older man looking after his best friend’s daughter, Clover, while her father is away and she prepares for university. Clover is studious and kind, but her sheltered upbringing is beginning to loosen as she finds her own path. The arrival of Cory, Clover’s rarely discussed sister, brings a sharper, more volatile presence into the household. It uses animated 3D computer graphics and follows the protagonist through a mature household story.
The current build is the Endings version, dated March 28, 2024, with development having reached the endings rather than a demo. It is available on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, in English, without censorship. The latest update adds Chapter 12, where the protagonist returns home after a break to find Jenny, Clover and Cory’s mother, waiting for the girls and prompting uncertainty about whether she wants peace or will create new trouble. It also includes Chapter 11.1, which brings Clover’s relationship to a head and fixes bugs.

Sugar and Spice is a visual novel where you play as an older man who is taking care of his best friend’s daughter, Clover, while he’s away and she’s going to university. Clover is a sweet girl who gets good grades and works hard. Her life with her father was a little hard, and he sheltered her rather a lot, but she’s starting to come into her own. And all that changes with the arrival of Cory. Cory is Clover’s mysterious and rarely alluded to sister. She grew up on the other side of the country along with her mother (a lot of bad blood there) and she has come to find her sister (and piss off her mom while she’s at it). Cory is spicy enough to give you a chemical burn. She’s had a much harder upbringing and is going to throw not just Clover’s life into disarray, but yours as well. Will you be able to control yourself?
