About Gotham Mechanic

Gotham Mechanic is an HTML adventure game by DoctorMoist. You play an average mechanic who moves through a criminal underworld with a faction-based storyline and several gangs to meet. The game emphasizes replayability: you can help customers, build your garage, unlock more, or earn money in other ways. The story lets you choose whether to stay honest or turn criminal. Its animated adult visuals support themes such as corruption, management, and harem.

The latest build is v0.5, released July 15, 2023, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux in English and is uncensored. The v0.5 changelog adds ten personal endings tied to mafia women, full Koreatown content, dark criminal trading, about 18 new characters, extra UCS party material, new customers, a cleaner interface, and bug fixes, with roughly 4,852 lines of code.

Changelog

v0.5 You Lady Killer you. Youll tell them anything they want to hear. Schmooze those mafia ladies to reach any of 10 personal endings! Explore Koreatown in its entirety and get embroiled in the dark criminal "trading" underground. There's more supplemental content here and there, nearly 5000 lines of it. Also, I didn't include it, but it should be up on Gamcore soon. Enjoy TLDR *4852 lines of code *~18 New Characters *Finished Koreatown for now *Added more to UCS party *Mafia girl story endings *New customers *Cleaner UI *Bug fixes v0.4 Party at Brewer Hall! A new adventure from the angle of a lost MC, or a pawn of Sofia. The party at Brewer Hall has more content than the original Sofia job, spilt over two sides. However, the main focus of the update is the new PHONE SYSTEM. Much cleaner, and with room for improvement. There are ten phone screens to unlock, see if you can find them all. I also fixed a few bugs and added the Spectre and Olivia content I should have added last time. Leave a comment if there's any character you think deserves a phone screen added, and I just might next time. TLDR 2550 lines of code 13 New Characters Vochos side of party MC side of party Olivia content Spectre content PHONE FUNCTIONALITY (Use the Phonescreen debug button on the side if you're using a save and don't see a phone) - NOTES: See the cast list in game - SETTINGS: Change your phone home screen - PHOTOS: View a gallery of photos sent to MC - ACHIEVEMENTS: The same as last time - MESSAGES: A better way to view texts to MC - CHEATS: Just moved the textbox Small bug fixes (Thank you Discord!) v0.3 The Koreatown Heist! A whole new heist to complete in a whole new area. A new achievement system to help navigate was also created. CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER was also implemented. There's four actors at the moment, but feel free to suggest another actor if you'd like to see that. I had to backtrack quite a bit for this update, I scanned the game twice, but I was bound to miss something. Leave a comment if you find anything, or just have a suggestion. You could also talk to me in the NEW DISCORD!!! A better way to communicate. TLDR *The Koreatown heist! 4826 lines of code New Koreatown area The country minigame Pick your profile! The new Koreatown heist! Quality of life upgrades (Passage transition links changed, gif backgrounds removed, narrator text edited) New achievement system to help navigate 17 new characters v0.2 The customer update! Now with over 14 customers total with a new reputation system to make your choices that much more valuable. There's also an office where you can now purchase equipment and specialists to help unlock said new customers. I'm mainly concerned with balancing issues for those that don't do the heist, so please leave a comment if you soft lock yourself or if you actually found it nice. TLDR Now over 14 customers to help New reputation system and office Please comment if unbalanced Over 2,200 lines of new code, and over 100 new assets (Images and videos) If you have any feedback, please leave a comment. I've listened to good and bad feedback and both have helped greatly. Unlocking every customer should be more difficult without the heist, but not impossible. Please leave a comment if that is the case for you. Thanks! v0.1 I rolled back almost all of the content to repackage it as a more cohesive narrative. The original story was porn assisted by words, and the new story is words assisted by porn. It's lost nearly 100mb of content, but I added 1303 lines of code. There are 100 more passages of supplementary content to explore, that just makes the world make more sense. Most of the humor has been dialed back, and the narrator functions more as a descriptor than a punchline. All in all it's significantly more digestible, and will look moreso in future updates. Interactable relationship building for Becca, Amelia, and Spectre Cast at beginning More supplementary content to make it cohesive Debug menu via a code Thank you to everyone who tried the Alpha, everyone who gave feedback, and to everyone who might try this update! To the folks of F95Zone, the code is jazzcoffee Alpha 001

To my surprise, I found that the development of this game ended on version 0.5. I had previously reviewed it on version 0.3 and was pleasantly surprised. The game had a potential that caught my attention. Despite the fact that…

Writing is good, story is standart tycoon type, but with a very fresh and unique premise. So far the only downside is the visuals. They just don't match well enough the story. I see a lot of potential so I…
