The story's so so, love all the girls especially May, but unfortunately, i have some things that i personally disliked from this game that ruin the score for this game: 1. It is still a buggy mess, where sometimes it gets laggy as heck & can crashed when you least expected(Mine's when i tried to go to May's "flat") 2. You cannot scroll back to see the previous dialogue, which is essential to any Ren'Py games 3. The skip is a pain. Usually in Ren'Py games, you can either activate the skip all or not but still able to skip the events that you've already encountered. But this game, it's all skip or no skip at all, which is a pain... 4. As i said, the story is so-so, but some events are disappointing. 1 example, is when we hit the doctor... Not enough..... 5. Lack of night raid/night sex. You give us hope because we can go to Lucy & Rosie's room during night but we can't molest Lucy & terrible night raid in Rosie's room... 6. Some places didn't utilized properly like basement for the example... Also come to think of it, no sex at park & beach... Wasted potential

game itself is kind of a slow burn one, and that's nice. models might be not too realistic but it doesnt need to be. it has a style, its not unnecessarily long either, i like it. it doesnt deserve 5 stars, i wanted to give it a 4, but it had low ratings so lets up it to 5.

So I know this game used to have a low rating because it was RPGM and super grindy. They've fixed a lot of that by going to renpy. The game has excellent art style and animations, the progress is a bit slow, but it's decent. The writing could use a lot of work though. To quote a specific exchange in the game "Did it feeling good?" "Yes." "Okay." I'd rate the game 3.5 but we can't, so it's closer to a 4 than a 3.

In general compared to many other projects? Pretty good. Subjectively? A scumbag simulator. If you follow the progression you will clearly see and understand that whilst his initial escalation with his daughter is slow after he crossed some lines with her he starts to romance his *sister?niece?* his daughters friend and then a girl who chooses not to speak. I'm content with the amount of text, animations and sex appeal. My major grind is with the story. Protagonist - Somehow lived with his daughter up to his age 37 being a decent man but once he pushes slightly with his daughter (step daughter if you will, though it doesn't seem so) he is like a bulldozer. On the other hand we learn other facts about him and his sister(?) that they experimented in their early ages....Mind you, they had a 12 year difference so i'm wondering at what age did they experiment. In short story becomes a dumpster fire a bit after we are forced into harem route. And it is handled sloppy and protagonist is bonafide scumbag. (No wonder his wife cheated and ran away, no sympathy towards him how he handled his harem route )

The Models/scenes look amazing, and while the game is better without needing to piss or eat 3 times a day anymore, the fact there is zero grinding now makes it feel a bit hollow. The story is basic and it became a VN with an overly complex UI to dredge through. If you find the daughter's model hot then its worth it just to get to the fun scenes.

I believe the correct approach is to evaluate the game itself, not the developer's progression ok?. The game itself is very beautiful, the models are incredibly sexy, and the animation is magnificent, but there are two negative points: The first is repeating the same actions thousands of times every time. I understand that the dynamic of money and needs is meant to make the game... well a game, but how about at least doing the following: you managed to evolve Rosie to level 1? Great! Now your needs decay 20% slower, and so on. I know it wouldn't be as realistic, but it would maintain a sense of reward. The second problem, and in my view the worst, is the lack of direction in the game. Man, I played 4 Elements Trainer, and I don't think I was ever stuck for so long not knowing what to do. In this game, I had to resort to a walkthrough, which is horrible having to look at a screen action by action. It might sound lazy, but how many entrances does the house have, 7 or 8? Each of these entrances only unlocks an event at a specific time of day, and sometimes you need to find an item in a place you've already checked 1,000 times before, and there was nothing. So, the player ends up spending hours just trying to figure out what to do next. that all said the game still it's amazing, and I recommend playing it.

Review for v0.6.8 TLDR: Game looks nice, has ok story but has ton of softlocks that are not addressed from previous or current versions which is extreme turn off that leads to need to replay same content <x> times because you leveled one character in wrong order. Visuals 4,5/5: I would say that this is the strongest thing that this game delivers on. Quality of renders and characters is really good. Scenes look nice and natural and characters don't suffer from looking like they are made of plastic. Story 2/5: Nothing special to write about. It starts out as slow "falling in love" story between ______ (insert family relation) but falls apart as MC is trying to be prince on a white horse, while also trying to shag half of the town population. Technicals 1/5: Game does seem to perform well. No slowdowns or memory hogging, but there is sizable number of softlocks that I've run into. After attempt !5! I've given up on finishing few last events. It kind of feels like dev didn't spend any time on testing this which is shame.

Cute game about a horny divorced man who has incestuous relations with his daughter and sister while also trying to get into the pants of just about every other female in town. If this doesn't end with at least 5 females pregnant, I will be surprised. The Pros: 1-I found the anime style females to be quite cute, especially the daughter. 2- A very nice looking game overall, with a slick UI. 3- The rooms actually look like living spaces, not empty squares with the occasional piece of furniture thrown in for effect. 4- The sex animations were really well done. The faster rhythm of the intercourse scenes was also a very nice touch, compared to the robotic fucking you see in most games. The Cons: 1- An extremely slow and painful grind. I thought about giving up multiple times but I kept clicking away in hope of getting to the good scenes. 2- The daughter and Sister bathroom scenes should give you the option to "back" out, so you don't waste a time slot. I must have done this over 20+ times and it just gets tiresome. 3- The characters menu is very wonky and at times unhelpful, with hints that make no sense and names misspelled or in the wrong place. 4- The English translation needs to be rewritten. A case in point was how the dev handled the dialogue between the mute girl May. It was very distracting and at times made no sense at all. 5- Many times characters were in their designated places but did not appear on the Map. Slowing down an already very slow game. 6- The ability to key in "H" to hide the UI would have been nice. Unsure why this wasn't an option. I really like the concept of this game, but the execution needs to be better. If the pace could be quickened by reducing all the grinding and the other things I mentioned, also fixed, I would have rated this game much higher.

Hmm I liked the look of the game so I thought I would ignore the bad reviews and try it. A knock against the game is the grind-well it's true. A sandbox can work in these games if there is some content to fill it out. When the game relies on repetition to build a level that unlocks a small variation in content the sandbox becomes irritating. Maybe later the sandbox would be less pointless but with the repetition it won't matter. There could at least be more opportunities to raise that magic level but the same scenes become boring fast anyway. I thought the models were cute enough but aren't good enough to go through the grind for. I even played the free version which removes the need to shower/eat/etc and it was still boring. Apparently there is lesbo content later too which isn't in the tags. I tend to hate lesbo content but when it is confined to side-girls or optional it isn't a deal-breaker. Lesbo with the main LIs though is a deal-breaker. What is the point of the buildup only to turn it into some open-relationship? It doesn't matter because I'm not grinding to see the main point of the game anyway. Nice models but grindy gameplay nets 2 stars/

It's been a slow burn, but the wait was worth it, I feel it's finally earned a glowing review. I've loved the relationship building in this game, but have been left feeling unfulfilled until this update, a glorious incestuous threesome. Great stuff!

This game was amazing and one of those gems that rating of the game here doesn't bring the justice it deserves. I really enjoyed it and played it free mode, where you don't have to care about your needs (I think those are just unnecessary tasks and should not have implemented in the first place). All in all very pleasant surprise and I recommend to give this one a try and see if you like it as much as I did. There are some game breaking bugs on the build I played 0.6.7 where characters just dissapear into void and never come back, but I expect those to be gone in future builds, so I won't let it affect to my rating of the game.

The graphics in this game is quite good. The characters look very appealing and the animations look very good. The gameplay is not that great but not bad either. The corruption is quite fast but it is not bothering. The bas side, that amount of content is a bit low from game started in 2019.

The game has a very long start, but when it starts having sexy scenes, the animations are great. Happy Summers has been developed for quite a long time and would expect to have tons of bugs, but actually its largest downfall still lays in its lack of good quest tracking to progress the game. The scenes in the game are hidden and could be greatly improved by QOL update rather than new scenes.

TL; DR Spoiler Do not even think about touching this game if you value your real time and want to play something to get off or enjoy. Graphic part seems welcoming, what's behind it is absolutely unsightful. Good game now, with nullified grind, a lot of good scenes and fine story. Art still feel a little weird, but now it really is the game to enjoy. Spoiler Spoiler So many years of development, and it still has the very same flaws... As I've mentioned, graphic part is nice, but great models with some fairly appealing scenes do not salvage this game... Absolutely terrible decision to make those 4 different, quickly decreasing daycare bars to maintain. You just do not have day time for anything else, mostly take care about those. It's infuriating, because there is no good reason to keep player busy doing that bullshit . Degraded progression. At any point of time, you have no idea what to do next to advance. If you did not play this game for some time - there is no way to figure out where did you stop and what to do next. Hints, to-do list, character progress advices - nothing of this is present in this game. Dev prolly thinks that it's self-explainable, while it's not and has never been. As it often happens, especially in this type of games, there is no logic in what's going on. Even after months I still remember that "fever" event which is designed beyond stupid. You can pass through it by pure random chance by doing required consecutive actions. Like, what do you think about when you have 39 ° C fever? Of course, how to put your hands on your roomie's panties! That event alone makes you wish to close this one and shift+del it. Nothing special about the plot. The only significant thing about it is that it's excessively elongated, partly because of poop and eat routines, partly because it's an advance maze (if you are stuck at some point, you are fucked and it's your pure luck to suddenly trigger advancing event/action, otherwise you will be doomed to do the same poop-eat routine each day forever), partly because advancing has no sense, so you are often out of options of how to proceed. UI is not very convenient, key buttons are mixed up compared to what you expect them to be, many additional clicks needed to do actions, though this part is prolly the least annoying, you can somehow adjust to it. All in all, it's a sweet candy on sight, but absolutely degraded mess to play, progress and enjoy. Slow burn is so slow you will get whitehaired faster than progress to the next level of any girl... I do not rate with 1* unless "game" absolutely deserves it, but I really wanted to rate this one with it. But there are seldom good parts in it , and dev actually tries to make it further even if it's barely playable in joyment regard due to "strange" gamedesign decisions, so it will be generous 2* this time. How difficult may it be to make a proper in-game walkthrough, in any suitable form? A lot of hate about this game could be resolved by that effort alone... 2026.03.21, ver 0.75R Now that's something the game should be from the start. Rare case when dev decided to not preach on his beliefs of how to build the game and listened to what people complainted about. Both downsides of this game are out now. - No grind. you just point-click to find your scenes and progress through the story. Previous options are still there (to not break the game logic I assume), but they are rudiments now, you can use the for time advance variety. - At last - in-game, comprehensive walkthrough! You can get most of progressing pointers from dialogues, but if you ever stuck of what to do, now you have a reliable to-do list. No more aimless wandering - just click and enjoy. ) With that said, it's amusing how the game became much shorter now, but much more enjoyable at the same time. I guess now that the most annoying parts of the game are dealt with, dev can concentrate on the main course - add more of lewds (with repeatable ones please! XD). Looking forward for more Happy Summer now! o/

[V 0.6.4] Doesn't respect your time. You pass 80% of the game eating, showering, pissing and working with no end in sight, no upgrades nothing. Then you have to watch the same scenes again and again to progress. I'm not exaggerating, it's really boring.

I know I'm in the minority when i say this, but I just really enjoy this game. Is it a slow burn? Absolutely but I'm a sucker for slow burn, I get bored if the build up is to fast and I simply stop playing the game if i feel like the game moves to fast. I play these games for the story, the adult content is just a added bonus for me. There is a fair bit of grind in this game, again for me that's what i like in sandbox games i feel it's more awarding in the sense you are building towards something, but i can understand that some people don't enjoy that. I enjoy the renders i find them very beautiful especially Rosie's character model, i know some may find it a little dated but its refreshing to see that the DEV rendered what they wanted to render and not just what they thought other people may enjoy. The erotic scenes are extremely beautiful and rewarding, i also enjoy how sensual the scenes are and not simply driven by lust but by the love you cultivated with the Love Interests throughout the story. I've been a fan of Caizer Games for years ever sense i played "My Lovely Sara" i just love their style and pacing of their stories and i hope nothing but the best for them.
