Heroes of Celtica: Dark Druid

v0.13.0 AIDEEN PATH FOCUS - All the new material is in the Aideen 'heroic' route for this update and takes place after the Scythian and his traveling party spot three red riders. MAJOR MYTHOLOGY RETELLING - This update retells a major story in the Irish mythology called "The Destruction of Da Derga's Hostel" ( Togail Bruidne Dá Derga) , but I did take some liberties by adding a few notable characters from Irish mythology that were never there (forgive me). The story beats of this update basically follow how the story has been translated from Middle Irish. MAJOR CHARACTER INTRODUCTION - The major character of GRANYA (Grainne), the High Princess of Celtica is finally introduced! How long has she been on my development side but never in an update? Feels like forever... Granya is an important character in Irish mythology and is tied very tightly to the stories of Finn Moc Huul and the Fianna (but not Da Derga's Hostel). LOVE and DARK PATHS - If you want to squeeze all the content out of this update, you will need to play through the Da Derga Hostel scenario having corrupted Etain or having made her fall in love with you AAAALLLL the way back in the introduction. NEW RETRO-ADDED CONTENT - There is also some retro-added content to the game around the character of Cethlenn, who is the wife of Balor the Evil Eye. Access this content by playing through the introduction at the start of the game again and ALSO there is new flashback content around the sequence just before the Scythian decides whether to steal the leadership of the Fianna from Finn Moc Huul or go on a quest to find the Four Treasures of the Tuatha. v0.12.0 Emphasis on action and story progression, with sexy scenes to boot: The Clio path continues with a journey back to Brac Cogrim in search of the kidnapped Saivah. This is the route that opened when you chose Clio to accompany you with High King Conaire. The Caz-Cora path continues in the same way as the Clio path, if you had chosen Caz-Cora to accompany you instead of Clio. The Aideen "heroic quest" storyline continues with a little lore about how geis work as the journey with High King Conaire continues. v0.11.0 This is a BIG ONE for corruption fans! The Caz-Cora route continues, with The Scythian taking her to the Temple of Balor. Will she be the same woman when she comes out as when she walked in? The Clio route continues, with The Scythian also taking her into the Temple of Balor. What will happen to the proud Fir Bolg descendant of the warrior queen Tailtiu? The Saivah route continues, with a return to Brac Cogrim. An old enemy rears their head and must be dealt with! This route comes with a low corruption and high corruption variant, based on your past actions with Saivah. Aideen "heroic route" content to continue next update (available now to patrons). v0.10.0 This update is a retelling of ' Branwen ferch Llŷr ' (Branwenn, Daughter of Lyr) which is the second story from the four branches of the Mabinogion. This is one of the central tales of Welsh mythology. Caz-Cora's route continues if you chose her to accompany you to escort High King Conaire. Likewise, Clio's alternative route continues if you chose her to accompany you to escort High King Conaire instead. The "heroic" route with Aideen continues whether you visited Brigid's Sidhe or the Temple of Balor (the two alternative travel routes you were given). No new Saivah route content this update (that comes in v0.11.0) v0.9.0 Updates include the following: The story line with 'Bran the Blessed' continues, whether you chose to go with Clio or Caz-Cora (two variant paths). Aideen's story line continues with the option to 'Head north to the Temple of Balor' now available. Saivah's story line continues - there are variant scenes depending on Saivah's corruption levels (so you may want to use a save game to increase or decrease her corruption from the time you meet her). There are 7 new sex scenes in this update. v0.8.0 Updates to storylines include the following: This is even bigger than the last update with a lot of story development! The 'heroic quest' story line is update with a visit from Manannan mac Lir The 'Fianna' story line continues with the introduction of the legendary Welsh/British king - Bran the Blessed! The 'Saivah' story line continues with an unexpected attack! This update is story-driven, but there are 3 new sex scenes. v0.7.0 CONTINUING WITH DARK DRUID Here are the highlights, all found within the DARK DRUID story option: This is the biggest update since the very first release with v0.1.0. with 250+ images and 7 new sex scenes More lore and stories lifted from Irish myth and legend, including the origin of Diarmud O'Doone Saivah (i.e. the wife of Fionn mac Cumhaill) enjoyers will like this one (try exploring all the options with her after joining the Fianna but staying behind) v0.6.0 WELCOME TO DARK DRUID With v0.6.0 of HEROES OF CELTICA, this is the first release to concentrate on the druid route exclusively. This will give the game consistency with future updates and the player base can expect a devious and cunning play style to match the personality of the DRUID. From v0.6.0 onwards, the DRUID storyline will be focused on in every update until this character's story-branch is complete, hence the new sub-title of "Dark Druid". All the existing content for the CHAMPION, BARD and WARLORD thus far remains playable in the game. Revised prologue Play the game again through the Dark Druid menu choice. There are new scenes to unlock in the prologue and the 'good' and 'evil' choices have been removed, as the new prologue no longer acts as a character generator. There is now additional options to corrupt the main female character of the opening chapters. Mythological characters introduced - Queen Mugain, Emer v0.5.5 The CHAMPION and the WARLORD paths are both given full-length updates in this release and there are seven unlockable adult scenes. A tip when playing WARLORD is you may want to try maxing out your ferocity and/or allowing Rhiannon's Curse to grow. There are now a total of 31 sex scenes in the current update. Story content for this update is based upon the Ulster Cycle tale of the Cattle Raid of Fraech and the Fenian Cycle tale of The Red Woman . Mythological characters introduced - Red Lady, Manannan Mac Lir, Fraech, Connall Cernach v0.4.0 This update begins the WARLORD route of the game and continues the training of the DRUID route with extra plot content and the development of his dark powers. 4 possible sex scenes to unlock. Story content for this update is based upon a Welsh tale Pwyll Pendefig Dyfed from the First Branch of the Mabinogion . Mythological characters introduced - Rhiannon, Queen Maeve, King Ailill mac Máta, Liath Luachra v0.3.0 This update begins the BARD route of the game and continues the machinations of the DRUID route with extra plot content. 2 extra sex scenes to unlock. Story content for this update is based upon an Irish tale from the Acallam na Senórach (Tales of the Elders of Ireland). Mythological characters introduced - Cas Corach, Caoilte mac Rónáin, Finn mac Cumhaill, Goll mac Morna, Oisin, Diarmud O'Duibhne v0.2.2 Minor update. Added one extra sex scene to the DRUID route. Added some extra variables to the DRUID route that will have effects in later updates. v0.2.1 This update begins the heroic CHAMPION route of the main game, as well as the devious DRUID route of the main game. 4 possible sex scenes to unlock.
