About Horizons

Horizons is an adult dating sim and visual novel by rektangulus, built in Ren'Py with 3DCG art. You play as a male protagonist who, after a recent tragedy, moves in with an old family friend and tries to start fresh. The game is set in a vibrant town where you can visit a mall, beach, park, cafe, burger joint, school, and streets, meeting a diverse cast while building romance, friendship, and personal growth. Its point-and-click structure lets you explore locations and hidden interactions.

The current build is v0.2.5, released July 26, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, in English, uncensored. This update added a phone-based replay system for unlocked scenes, an interactable social media feed, new PC wallpapers, collectible CGs, and a cheat menu with a bugfix code named bugfix1 that applies hotfixes without a reset.

After a recent tragedy, you find yourself moving in with an old family friend, hoping to start fresh in a world full of new opportunities. In New Horizons, every relationship tells a deeper story. With a diverse cast of characters, each with their own compelling backstories and unique personalities, you'll navigate the complexities of love, friendship, and personal growth. Enjoy hours of engaging content filled with heartfelt moments, hidden interactions, and memorable encounters. Explore a variety of locations, including the bustling mall, the sunny beach, the serene park, the cozy cafe, the lively burger joint, the nearby school, and the streets of a vibrant town, and a handful of other locations. Each place offers new experiences and opportunities to build connections with the characters you meet.
