Didn't enjoy this one. There is a basic psychological conflict of you being a miserable fat fuck who makes his life worse than it could be, but when it's demonstrated at least twice in five minutes, it becomes boring instead of telling something meaningful. Maybe there's going to be some payoff, but, as of chapter 2, it's plainly not there. I'm not sure it's a good type of slowburn. You click-click-click. Click-click-click. Click. Like a seer, you know what's going to happen in 300 clicks. Click-click-click. And then it's the end. I guess I expected something else from this game: a bit more mysterious, a bit more slick, a bit more perverse. Now it's none of those things. Maybe if you like incest, you're going to enjoy it more.

Honestly not bad, really hot LIs. The main character is relatable but not overly annoying and the plot is.. Interesting. I think the only thing stopping me from praising this is the weird ass dynamic with the underage sisters (not step sisters) I REALLY dislike games that edge on the border of pedophilia or like some on here like to cope "Lollies". Those girls do not look anywhere near 18, nor do anything for me, their inclusion makes my stomach churn. I hope that first rejection sticks and they act normal the rest of the way. Other than that my other complaint had to do with the MC looking like a young boogie2988 but his looks dont matter as much as the previous issue.

Pretty good story and likeable characters. The conversations are realistic, albeit a bit whiny. My only complaint is that the main character is giving incel vibes. Being a former fat kid that got my shit together in my early 20's and lost weight, I can relate but the whole "feel sorry for me" vibe is off-putting. The models are really nice, especially for those that are into goth chicks. Keep up the good work, will be looking forward to future releases.

After The Bite: Revenant went abandon, good vampire game spot is wide open. Sure somewhat of a different genre of vampire game, but there was some gold nugget story ideas there (rip off vampire the masquerade) and different vamp. powers. However the gameplay debt got in the way for a good story there sadly. This game have a good start overall, a bit of rough start with the mc being who is, but a fixer up. A bit more hair on the head would help I suspect (personal opinion). +Graphics, music, ambient has some effort put in. Good variation of ladies, but no big muscle vampire lady? Open spot there Courtney looked slightly toned, so she will have to do.

Amazing start! Definitely a slow burn but that's what makes it good and make sense. The writing is so good, the dialogue is believable, and the characters are all really interesting. I have as many questions as the MC and can't wait to hear the answers. Kitty best girl btw. Just top tier super nice Goth (potential) GF. Looking forward to future updates.

This game is perfect so far. I really hope this one doesn't get abandoned because it has a lot of potential Plot - 5/5 -Not anything groundbreaking but it is being revealed at a good pace with interesting characters and effective world-building Visuals - 4/5 - The visuals are more than adequate but not particularly noticeable (in a good way).The MC's character model is one I haven't seen before and it really fits his character's personality. The side character models are also very nice and fit the character's well Writing/Dialogue - 5/5 - This is the story's biggest strength so far. The most notable quality is how well the MC is written. He has an actual personality and interacts with the people around him in a realistic and believable way. He isn't an autistic sex pervert, or a mega-chad dickhead, but he doesn't seem to be a pushover or simp either. You can tell the developer has interacted with humans before because the dialogue is believable while not being long-winded. NSFW - 2/5 - So far, this game is plot driven and not a horny fuckfest. I think there is a lot of potential in future chapters for that, but, to the developers credit, the plot of this story really needs some groundwork to be set in the beginning in order for any romance to build

In the Shadows of Ashwood is off to a really strong start. The story grabbed me pretty quickly, and the characters are easy to get invested in. The renders and animations look great. There’s only one adult scene so far, but it’s well done and shows a lot of promise for future updates. If you’re into fantasy adult VNs that put effort into story, characters, and visuals, this one is definitely worth checking out.

A kinetic novel with fantastic characters and a unbearable dev. There are a lot if things that are great about this project. The MC looks ok, fitting for his age. I even liked his fat form. His personality fits his situation as well, a proper character development is needed tho. He seems overall pretty reasonable, which is exceptionally rare in VNs. The story is a tame version of a vampire family rebuilding and their meeting with an average MC. Nothing to ground breaking (yet), but I liked it. It is written in a down to earth style with interactions that feel natural. It is short and early, so there is much to discover in future updates. Would I review only this part of the VN, it would get the full 5* from me with big encouraging words no one needs. But unfortunately the dev sabotages it already with questionable decisions and behaviour. So far there is one LI route in the game, a side character with about 2 min playtime. She looks beautiful and nice, but not much else to say yet. We are introduced to a big group of females. Some of them showed interest in various ways, other reacted indifferent or even with adversity. Incest is omnipresent in both MCs thoughts and some of the dialogue with his sisters/mother. It will definitely be a major plot point of this VN. The main problem that the reader already faces is lack of agency. The dev warned bevorehand about unavoidable sex scenes. That was even further stated here with their comments. That would be understandable with a mainLI like a girlfriend or wife,someone already established. Instead it is just the lazy excuse to cut corners. The first and only sex scene is forced with a character outside the family, completely devoid of reasoning. It ruins her as a LI for a cheap scene that could've just avoided by literally saying no. No extra work, just a disappointed look and an awkward goodbye. Reactions for critiques about that from the dev were aweful. Consescending tone, halfbaked reasoning, insults. They made clear that the MC will have sex with whoever dev decided to be neccessary. So there aren't any main LIs. There are plot characters that MC will handle independent from the reader. In other words: it will be a kinetic novel where it counts. Sad to see, it ruins the experience for no reason. At least for now, there are easy ways to fix both the lacking player agency and overall standing of the game. Making the family members into fixed love interests should be fine, given the heavy focus on incest. But also ensuring not to whore them out, which I doubt will be a problem. All other interactions should just have a "nope-out" button. I'm really excited to see, why a simple, quite bad blowjob was so neccessary for the plot that we didn't get a say. I doubt there will be any. And skipping is about the worst path possible.

This game/VN seems well written and the pacing is good. It is an interesting concept that is being explored in a unique setting. I look forward to seeing where the story goes. Well done, author. Keep up the good work

I really love the game, i been waiting for the update and it was worth every second. To be fair at the start i was hooked with the "chubby" mc, its hard to find a chubby MC on this webside, even so after all the changes an so on, i still like it a lot. One thing i can say i dont like that much its the fast pace or quick change the mc does, even so its still fine!. Thanks dev! great game so far, keep at it!

Not gonna lie, this surprise me. The writing is so good, the MC actually has a personality instead of simply being a horndog or a typical bland harem MC. I hope this will get consistent updates. 9.5/10 for now.

wonderful game, i would love to see more of the story and the art is really nice. Good work and keep this one going. The story is good the play through seems to work really well. Its still in the initial phases but this could turn out to be a really really good game.

This game has such a amazing models quality, animation. The story has very big potential also I love vampires how much? a lot I hope for the nice story with plot twist and without political correctness. Also here is already many characters so a lot of content possible truly with all of them, all of them looks hot . I can be a Bi woman but i just love vampire girls even if protag is a male haha. Models? 9-10/10 Animation? 9/10 Story? so far? 8,5/10 with huge potential Potential 10/10 I hope this game won't be abandoned because wow i love it even if currently it is very short because it is a new game. I don't usually leave a review after just the first chapter but holy SHIT this game is a banger. Everything is top notch, the writing the renders the atmosphere, just everything. It doesn't even follow the typical cliche of the loser becoming and overpowered vampire sex god. The atmosphere also has this oppressive feel to it and it REALLY made me feel like i was back in vampire the masquerade bloodlines. It oozes that world of darkness aura. If the other chapters are going to be as good as this one, then we are in for a BANGER of a game. 5/5 you absolutely should play this.

Went in blind and finished (chapter1) mad because thats all thats there so far. The Good: The mc is pretty good. Wasn't in love with his model at first but it grew on me. He has alot of things and issues that i relate to (excluding the weight and being white). He isn't a horndog which is always good. The models aren't jaw dropping but i do like a majority of them I'm genuinely in love with Irina. She is beautiful and her personality is whimsical and loving. Her jumpscares are oddly hot. Her eye glow looks amazing. I came into this for incest yet fell for the vampire next store lol. kudos to Mother, Kina, Irina's daughters. The writing overall is pretty chill. Not laugh out loud or bad but gets the job done. The Bad: Honestly theres not too much bad. Yea there are a few lines i feel would've made some scenes funnier (like Irina telling her daughter to get her sister and instead of going to the next scene, she says "on it" or something to signal she knew what her mother had planned but thats just nitpicking. The mc while looking fine chubby, looks a tad odd slim, I hope that gets tuned a bit. Mom's second model is a tad too pale. I wish the firecracker (and the younger sister) were larger. I never been into loli's so her being so small and flat chested saddens me because i love her face and weight (chubby) just wish she looked older. The game needs a little more choice in it. I know its the beginning but i do hope you have more choices in the game later on... Biggest issue is that this isn't close to being finished. Overall: Yet another game that broke me when the End of Chapter hit me in the face.

Reviewed Chapter 1. Just wow! Ok, breathe in....breathe out. STORY: 4.7/5.0 The story top notch compared to other stories on this platform 5/5. Compared to a first chapter in a book written by a novelist is only a small step down, so 4.7/5.0. The problems I'm seeing are; this quote "I cried for you. I don't know how you could endure such a life." If his life was so bad, where does the trust come from. I get Kitty, but he should have been VERY mistrusting of Irina and Kina. Mitigating factors for Irina, she had previously "compelled" him to help with the boxes and we don't fully know what that power does yet. The explanation for Kina is hollow. Survival instinct would have told him not to trust her in the least. All of a sudden your crush starts talking to you? His first reaction would have been something close to "she's trying to use me, set me up, make fun of me for status, or just no one talks to me so there has to be a catch. Take that away because of suicidal apathy (which gets expressed later), there's still the issue of him insisting to take the alley or taking the street. If he's that hard up for romantic interaction, he would have gone with whatever she wanted to do. So the hallway, when she wanted to stay in. "Sure, I get it. You don't wanna be seen with a fat ass." Mother's state mitigating factor here since his mom already mortified him. Going down the street instead of alleyway wouldn't have happened. Spend more time with the crush and increased wait time at the restaurant, or rush through the alley and get seated promptly and end the night earlier. Small nitpicking. Hence the 4.7/5.0 score. How do I know about this? I was the antisocial nerd, and my best friend was the antisocial fat ass, so vicarious experience. RENDERS: 5/5 The renders are done SO well. So far above average that other VN's need to study this game to show how lighting, modeling, and expressions are all needing to be balanced for best effect. 5/5 score. Not experienced at all. I just know what I like, and I REALLY like these renders. Gives me hope for animations, but animations can also powerbomb the game into oblivion since expectations are so high. GAMEPLAY: 3/5 Two instances of choices. Neither are of consequence. Choosing not to stop and talk in the hallway skips a little story. Choosing the "wrong" rooms proves to have no benefit. It only wastes your time. The dev needs to remember that if choices don't do anything, then they should be omitted. People's time is precious. Seconds wasted are seconds that can never be reclaimed. Maybe they are trying to give the player a sense of agency, but only irritates. Music: 4/5 I like the music. It's atmospheric, and does what music is supposed to do, which is to add to the game yet not be noticed while playing with your emotions. TEXT: 4.5/5.0 Story font is great, but the nameplate font...not so much. I enjoy the colors, but the font readability is subpar. The style is good I suppose, but makes it hard to read, or in Irina's and Mom's cases unreadable. KINKS: 4.5/5.0 The foreshadowing of incest is exciting. I'm hoping MC and his sisters stay human so the MC can get his sisters pregnant. Or if that isn't in the cards, I hope vampires can mate. Now obviously, kinks are purely subjective and should have no bearing on the rating, but the promise of no NTR has made me thankful enough to let the kinks kick the score up higher. CONCLUSION: Story is damn near novel quality, renders look SO nice, music is atmospheric, and text is great except for nameplates. The only drawback is the gameplay. The score was going to be rounded down because the choices don't really have an effect on the story. Skip a few lines, or for the second choice, waste of time. The first choice skips a bit of story, so if you stay and talk, she creeps you out more and you find out she's...patient. Just some foreshadowing. The second set of choices. Choose wrong rooms, and waste your time. Instead of wasting time, this is the chance to play detective because he's already supposed to be "investigating". No new info, no benefit whatsoever. Missed chance here. Don't wanna do that? Get rid of the damn choice. Time wasting is offensive. Respect player's time...seriously. The score was then rounded up to 5/5 purely because I'm SO thankful that there is a promise of no NTR since that spineless, dickless bullshit is everywhere. Keep your promise please! This game has earned it's spot on my hard drive.

a good start. nice worldbuilding and story to go with it.as a novel the characters feel like people and not cardboard. an interesting roster of characters. not much yet but i look forward to future updates.

I'll give it five stars, very intriguing from a plot perspective and I think it has solid potential. I do think the models are a bit lacking, the hottest characters are the milfs (mom, vampire mommy, friend's mom, etc,) and the younger girls all seem to have the same type of body (skinny, a/b cup tits) it's like we are living in a world where mom's have tits and the young adult women don't. I would have liked to see more types of bodies. MC probably needs to shave that beard; it's horrifying to look at even when he's changed. Overall, I don't mind his character arc, but he was also very frustrating after the reveal. We'll chalk this one up to drama. I did list some negatives there, but everything else I enjoyed! I think every character, even the girl that "betrays" you, has their own quirks and is definitely written in a way that would bring in fans. Good amount of content for a first update.

Very promising first chapter! Really interesting setup, with great-looking renders and character models. There isn’t a ton to review yet, no gameplay or animations so far, but there’s already plenty to like and nothing that put me off. I finished the chapter wanting a lot more. So for now, it’s a solid 5 stars for a strong start. I’ll update the review as new chapters roll out.
