About Indenture
Indenture is a Ren'Py visual novel made by PUSH! with 2D CG artwork and a kinetic-novel structure. It is set in the quiet Japanese countryside, where the Nishimura family lives away from the city. The family has a proud history connected to kendo and owns a kendo dojo, but tragedy strikes them. A secret deal made years earlier begins to haunt their present, forcing the family to confront whether it will ruin them or whether their reputation and dojo can still be saved.
The current build is the Final release, released on July 14, 2024, so development is finished. It runs on Windows and Linux, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog entry records an initial demo release.
Developer's description
The Nishimura family resides in the quiet countryside far away from the city in Japan. A proud family with a history of Kendo and owns a Kendo Dojo, their name was famous and influential. That is of course until one day, tragedy struck their family. A haunting secret deal that was made by the family years ago has come to haunt them. How would the Nishimura family deal with this? Would it be the end of them or is there a way to save their reputation and their beloved Dojo?
