Progressing in any game that Serial Number Comics makes is like trying to open a safe tumbler in a noisy room just by listening to the tumblers fall into place: You might get lucky from time to time, but for the most part you're going blind, hoping for the best, and eagerly awaiting something different. The sheer amount of repetition to get to anything of substance, or remotely looking like substance, requires you to drop those tumblers into place little by little until you finally get to something. It may not be the greatest thing, but it is progress. And if you have to go through 6 days of doing the exact same thing over and over again for little pay off? Then why not put out more content per release? The dev usually makes really good models on all of their games, but trying to navigate is like relying on a toddler to give you directions to a place they've never been. 1 star just for the models
Visuals are decent but the rest is a broken pile of hot garbage. Not one bit of the flow makes sense. You might as well have to guess a number from 1-10000 to proceed each step in the story.. I feel bad for anyone who paid the $30. Even 30 cents for this is too much. Save yourself the headache and don't even bother starting this one.
damm really non stop grinding with no guide at all and gallery for 30$ wow! if devs want really want money then make a good playable game. Game is like one way and you have no clue how to progress the story. If you mess up you stuck in the unending loop. design look nice though but not enough for all the other thing especially 30$ gallery
The game is fine, I don't understand all this criticism. Sure, there's grind and there could be less of it, but I kind of appreciate it in a game. Also, as in tangle up, I like the slow progression that gives you some sense of accomplishment. The kinks are perfectly fine, I with there was more of everything. Try it.
Feel like some adult sandbox games are too much of a grind? Then you don't know what a real grind is until you've tried this game. In this respect, the game stands out even among the most grindy games. Yet the game is definitely not one of the worst in terms of renders. If the developer had a tiny bit of common sense, with the same or less effort, he could have made a game that would get much better ratings from players.
game is good but the quality is not. There is absolutely no help and guidance on what to do, so youare stuck to figure out alone on what events to trigger. At some point i got tired of repeated scenarios so i maxed out relation to 400 and dominance and started playing.. i was fcking nadia but i still didnt know how to kiss,i bought bikins and they never showed idk if its bugged or did i have to trigger another event but i was stuck. The guide is a must
The developer has a track record of producing games which are very grindy. The lack of proper UI and direction or even a tutorial is not welcoming to new players/members here, who do not have some prior experience to lesser complicated grind games. My first rant about this game is the title itself; why Jen's Dilemma ? since we are playing as a male protagonist. My major complain though is the uneven progression of the story within the repetitive and lackluster sandbox. The appeal of the "story" being told, which is a decent one, is certainly lost. I won't recommend this game if you are here for a quick fap or a easy gaming experience. If you want to make yourself miserable by relieving the same events over and over again; to be rewarded with a few seconds of H scene which falls short in terms of story telling, building and animations. Then this game might be for you folks.
Renders are fine. That's about it, really. Horrible gameplay. Good renders. Poorly translated dialogue. The sandbox and all the grinding are really annoying. You spend hours of clicking meaninglessly through the sandbox to get one scene and then repeat the grind for another hour. It is a complete waste of time. I don't recommend this game.
I could only handle about 15 minutes of this train wreck of a game. It's bad enough that the English translation is abysmal, but the story itself seems like something a 10 year old might dream up while jerking off under the sheets. I don't mind the occasional cum fest, but this game is completely senseless. Do yourself a favor and do not download this game. Your brain will thank you..
You're more likely to get carpal tunnel syndrome than a boner from this repetative grindfest. It takes days to get anywhere, and what you get isn't really that good, at least in the - I'm sorry to say - hours I tried to get this to go anywhere, but here I am, ingame, still "helping with the dishes" and going for walks between repeated scenes of the stalest smalltalk concievable to man. Do yourself a favor, do not even try this game.
I don't like those games where we have to keep repeating scenes to increase statistics and among the games with that this is definitely one of the most boring, I think the developer wants to keep making us waste time with this because he can't write more than 5 minutes of story line. and another thing, you waste hours raising statistics and in the end you are rewarded with very average scenes, seriously this is the worst type of statistics management game I have ever seen, everything about it is terrible, I do not recommend it at all unless you like suffering and wasting time with something like this, it is full of bad reviews because it deserves them.
I don't care about grinding games, but this one is too grindy for few reward. And, guess what? The game don't save the progress from one chapter to another. So, nor reason, now the girls don't like me and I'll have to grind all the way up. Normally I do a full review, but this game brings nothing new that we all have not already seen in other vn's. A waste of time.
Terrible game, no information on what to do and very boring, the interface needs improvement, the story seems to never progress and you are always repeating the same points since there is no indication of what to do to trigger new scenes.
Too much grinding with little reward . The cg is not good enough and the story is so-so. No complete walkthrough . The dev is very lazy about the game . Like the mission are so random it is almost confusing
In every new release, I get this urge to try this game again, with a hope that they fixed or updated somethig in regards of game progressio... But it keeps the same mess and sometimes it gets even worse... it's so frustrasting, because it's from a creative developer, and I loved his previous games (which, by they way, was grindy and hard to progress, but was doable by using a guide) Things progress too slow... way slow... and then something too kinky happens, breaking the whole logic of it being so slow and grind in the first place It would be better if the game were more straight-forward VN than this "repeat and find the perfect combination of events in order to progress a little bit if some random variable also gets applied" route The size of the game is also another deal breaker. The quality of the images in game aren't this good, and using large images in sequence to create animation is also awful...
The renders are great but the storyline is sucks so bad just like FOTM.and to top it off,the grinding.i can't comprehend why the dev wants to create a game like this,sandbox and grinding is a really bad combination.next time make a vn.
Too much grinding and problematic gameplay system... Game won't tell you what to do exactly and you will keep doing the same thing over and over again not knowing if there more scene to see or not. Models and graphic are cool but game itself won't allow you to enjoy it.
It is such a shame I have to rate this game this way because the graphics and the story seem very good . Unfortunately, but there is SOOO MUCH GRINDING. And to top it off, there is no task list. Hopefully dev correct course in a future version.
Grindy like no other, and no task list or anything of the sort. Just a hint every now and then would have been very helpful. But the game as it is doesn't even have an end, cuz more than likely you'll get stuck in the middle or even in the beginning
I understand the "grinding" complaints. This is not a point and click to the earliest fap scene you can get to kind of game... However, I did find it intriguing and entertaining, once I finally got the hang of the "grind" and how to get to the needed triggers. I think many of the "stat" triggers are too high, which causes more "grinding" than really necessary (80 dom points?? That's at least 40 shower and bathroom scenes each provided you don't miss any chances...lol). Thankfully, there's that little CTRL short cut to skip through overly repetitive convos/scenes...lol If this had a "walkthrough" schedule/sequence, I think more people would find it tolerable... With said walkthrough or even more guided hints, this would be a pretty good "game". The out of sequence events in the story...ie...full on sex in one sequence/path but in the other the same girl doesn't want you even looking at her "funny"... The lack of continuity, sense of order, is rather distracting. But a scheduled walkthrough could alleviate some of the misalignment... I don't think it's poor because it's a good challenge (maybe too much so for the average F95 user...lol), requires thought and planning instead of just mindlessly clicking choices with colored stat hints. It's not better than average, which is objectively the ceiling for this one, because it does drag on with having to accumulate some high stat values to trigger progressing events, requires repetitive "failures", and the "hints" aren't necessarily the most helpful. They make sense "after you get there"... It's like asking directions from a local who tells you turn left at the tree, then right at the pole, go down a ways, and hope for the best...lol Well, there's 40 trees and 20 poles...lol Still, it rolls along pretty steady once you figure it out and use "skip" to fly through the repetitive "grind". If you're easily frustrated or want to fap as soon as possible, this is a hard pass for you... Or you could just look at the gallery...lol If you have a reserve of patience, like "puzzle" type games, or if you enjoyed Leisure Suit Larry from way back in the day....lol, you should at least consider giving this one a go...
