About Koikata: How Our Love Grows
Koikata: How Our Love Grows is a Japanese adult dating sim made by ensemble using the Others engine, with 2D CG visuals. You play Ren, a student at Seiou Gakuen, when the nearby Seiou and Shiraba schools are set to merge as their chairmen marry. After chairman Rin asks Ren and student council leader Saori to learn what students worry about, they recruit Shiraba council leader Yukie and speak with pupils from both campuses. The story follows Ren as he helps them through concerns such as dormitory closure, shrinking club life, loyalty to their schools, personal dreams, and family problems, while his relationships with the girls develop and lead to shared living as lovers.
The current build is v1.0.0, released on August 25, 2026, and development is ongoing. It is available for Windows and supports English and Chinese. The game is uncensored, and its adult content is part of the dating sim and school-setting romance.
Developer's description
Starting next spring, adjacent schools Seiou Gakuen and Shiraba Gakuen will merge at the same time of the marriage between their respective chairmen. One day, Seiou student Ren and the student council leader Saori were asked by the chairman Rin to find out any worries that the students have about the merger. They immediately enlisted the help of the Shiraba student council leader Yukie and began to ask the students of both schools. They each had their own worries: the closure of the student dormitory, the elimination of smaller clubs, an emotional attachment to their school, no longer able to chase after their dreams, family matters, and much more. Ren offers his hand in helping the girls with their worries and they happen to end up living together as ‘lovers’.
