About Lives, New Pleasures

Lives, New Pleasures is a Ren'Py adult visual novel by Guz, presented with animated 3D CG art. You play a man who died trying to rescue a girl who did not need saving, an accident blamed on a distracted goddess. Given a second life, he is born the third son of a noble lord. Because he is not in line to inherit, he is sent to an inland city to finish his academy studies and marry the adventurer guild leader’s daughter. The story mixes fantasy, harem, and monster-girl themes.

The current build is v0.0.4, released on September 5, 2024, and the project is still being updated. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Android, with English text and no censorship. The latest changelog describes a small update focused on sprites: the developer lost the older game files, then recreated them with a slightly different design. Earlier notes say the project was reworked to reduce repetitive actions and emphasize the story.

Developer's description

The MC died trying to save a girl who didn't need to be saved, and it was all the fault of the goddess who got distracted for a second. That's why she decides to give the MC a second chance. In his 2nd life, he was born as the 3rd son of a nobleman, the lord of these lands, and as he is not in the line of succession, he is sent to a city in the interior with the purpose of graduating from the academy and marrying the daughter of the leader of the adventurer's guild.

v0.0.4 A small upgrade with some sprite changes! I ended up losing my old game files and had to recreate them. However the design is a little different. v0.0.3 N/A v0.0.2 I decided to change almost everything from the first version of the game. Initially, I wanted to add many things such as random events outside the main story, individual status for each character. However, I realized that progress in the story was slow, and the game was becoming too repetitive. So, I decided to redo most of the game and focus on the story to make it more interesting with fewer repetitive actions.
