Melty Night VR

The good: - Lots of girls and they look good - Lots of positions - Move girls freely - Fully 3D VR environment with 6DoF The bad - No real gameplay. Just select girls and choose their animation - Girls are too small. Not short small. Small small - Cumbersome controls: Small menus, no shortcuts In a nutshell: select girls, select place and spawn. Then you choose which animation/pose the girl will do. You can freely move her around and move yourself around in a full 3D environment. (Want the girl to be upside down for some reason? You can do that.)

In the current version (0.6.2) Melty Night is very barebones, a foundation or prototype at best. There are not many interactions so it feels more like a model viewer for VR. I see the vision, I see the potential considering this is an early version, but this is a VR game so I'm sitting on the fence knowing that VR projects often get cancelled or end up lacking systems to guarantee the expected immersion for VR.

Melty Night is a very intuitively-controlled yet simple sandbox VR experience. A lot of people on here are dismayed at the fact that this game is a simple animation viewer, and while that may be true in technical terms, the amount of characters, clothing variations, and positions makes up for its simple premise. Just because an application utilizes a tried and true method of engagement doesn't mean it can't exemplify that method so that all of its features are evident. Controls Melty Night's controls are very well thought-out. You do need to use both controllers though, which some could see as a downside. The left hand controls the options and customizations menu and the right hand controls selections and menu navigation. Characters and objects can be selected by pointing and clicking at them. This then brings up their respective menu on the left hand. The girls themselves are moved via first selecting them and them dragging them around with the right controller. They can be moved literally anywhere, even clipping in and out of geometry. Customization As of version 0.6.2, there are 32 distinct characters to choose from. Some have more clothing variations than others, but each character is unique. There is an actually astonishing amount of positions to choose from as well, with some more niche ones like thighjob and footjob even being available. The only thing that could be seen as a potential downside here however is the lack of voice customization. Each girl (aside from very few specific ones) use the same voice with simple repeating moans. There also is no spoken dialogue, but this is more of a preferencial thing. Conclusion I really think this game has a lot of potential. Most things in this game are common Unity assets, yes, but even then, if the game itself is intuitive (which I believe it it), then I see no harm in utilizing simple assets like these. I sincerely hope the developer continues adding content to this game. They do have a discord server, but it has been inactive for a long time and seems to have had a bot problem awhile back. Overall though, great experience.

Honestly when it comes to vr scene creators this one's pretty good but the model selection leaves a lot to be desired, I played this thinking that the loli was kept to a minimum but its the overwhelming majority of models available, and the models I recognized as being vrchat models from booth had their proportions made intentionally small to be more loli-like. There are a lot of models to choose from but they feel very samey, and if you aren't into loli stuff then there's maybe 3-5 that are acceptable. There also were some lighting issues and when cycling through the outfits on some characters there'd be a couple with horribly broken textures. The controls aren't super intuitive but if you read the readme or just figure them out then they feel fine. If the game gets an update that adds some more adult looking models then I'd heavily reccomend it but for now I can't.

Ok, I'll pop the cork on this one since there are no reviews up. I like it! I've tried a few VR games here, and this one is the most immersive (once you get yourself set up). It's essentially a scene creator with a good variety of girls (loli optional). The girls can be placed in a variety of outfits, positions, and poses. What sets this one apart for me is the freedom to set it up as you like. Do you like to play kneeling? You can do that. Laying down, sitting in a chair? You can do all of that. Pros: I like each of the settings (cave, beach, classroom, etc.), and the music isn't bad either. There is a good variety of girls; some even come with multiple multi-piece outfits you can toggle. Breast size adjustment for most of the girls ability to place the girls anywhere you want (even sunk into the floor if you wish. Dick placement, you can place your dick anywhere you want to help with positioning. Girl placement, as before, the girls can be placed ANYWHERE. small download Cons: The control panel can only be on the left hand, and you can only interact with it with the right hand, so if you're halfway through a wank you can't really mess with the menu if you're not a dry guy. The only touch interaction the girls have is the breasts and hair; they don't really react to it either. Lack of animation speed adjustment. The girls finish when they finish, and there's no control over the timing of it. Active mode? I'm not really sure what the point is. You can get the girl to follow you around, but that's about all it does. I suggest sticking to normal mode.
