Mistbound Hearts

A promising start with an intriguing fantasy setting and characters so far. The dialogue is well-written if a bit overly fancy, especially for the "simpler" villagers, but at least so far it's all been relatively concise. The characters (potential LIs?) are set up well in wanting to learn more, and their renders are good as well. There's a lot to still explain but it's definitely got enough to keep me interested in where this goes. I do think the chapters defined may be a bit too short, but that's just a nitpick.

First, do not expect a sex fest, it's not at all like that. Some of my random thoughts as I played through: Spoiler: game 1. dialogue is well written, very well written actually. More similar to a novel that the average porn writing we see here LOL. I can't say much about the plot, as it's just the intro, basically introducing the world and some of the players/characters of it. Feels like a fantasy novel prologue to be honest, which isn't a bad thing. One extra thing, the game introduces a LOT of terms that are not explained, going the path of 'let you naturally figure out things as the world shows them' and honestly, I'm okay with that. That said, some might get frustrated by fantasy terms without a proper definition given. 2. would be nice to have the option to change the textbox opacity, it can be hard to read with the background and font. 3. MC's penis is so overly large it's distracting. (EDIT: Dev is waffling on whether or not it will stay so massive, it seems to be "important" to the plot. (looool) Could be a reason to drop it if it doesn't change, it would make all sex scenes a turn off for me. 4. the LIs (at least what I assume are the LIs) personalities are nice, and quite varied! really nice job there. They're also quite attractive. - some are quiet, aggressive, kind, crazy (like insane crazy, but still fun), stoic, etc 5. Even early on, there are some really cute/heart-warming moments. had me going 'awwwwww' :3 6. backgrounds/visual are beautiful! The art is really well done, fantasy but very colorful. doesn't have that dull grey look that a lot of fantasy games have. 7. MC's personality is nice, kind/gentle with a hint of strength when necessary. You have some choices as to react in a more aggressive/firm way compared to passive/stepping aside. 8. playtime is fairly short, just a single chapter, maybe 30 minutes? But really, really good. Really great start imo. Looking forward to this one. Honestly, one of the few I don't get frustrated with and start skipping some dialogue.
