About Mon-Musu Quest
Mon-Musu Quest is a 2D RPG Maker game by 四畳半ファクトリー. It plays as a monster girl adventure with 2D visuals. You take the role of a male protagonist, a descendant of the hero Rototo, centuries after Rototo defeated the Demonlord. A king created a Hero Tax to fund future heroes, but the descendants receive little and are resented by citizens who block them from earning, even when they work. When the Demonlord is reborn, you and two girls travel through the country under pressure to stop the threat.
The current build is finished, and development is complete. It was released on April 29, 2022. The final build presents the completed story. It runs on Windows, is offered in English, and contains censored adult material.
Developer's description
A few hundred years after the legendary hero, Rototo, defeated the Demonlord... The king at that time came up with a new tax from Rototo's triumph. Spoiler "If the Demonlord were to appear and threaten us again, the citizens would be charged with tax to support the hero." ...this was the origin of "Hero Tax". The descendants of Rototo were supposed to receive benefit from it, but the money from "Hero Tax" was so small that they had trouble to just live on. And because of the oppressive "Hero Tax", the citizens hated them. The citizens did not allow them to earn money even if they worked.. And one day, the Demonlord actually rebirthed. "You are gonna pay for the hero tax, Mr.Hero." You, the descendant of the hero, and two girls... are under pressure throughout the country, on their way to defeat the Demonlord...
