My Beloved Wife's Cuckolding Report

Overall score: 7.5 So with sadness in my heart at the news that Atelier Sakura has announced its closure, here is my thoughts on what it would sadly be their last "report" game. Did they manage to capture the sparks of their classic report games that made them famous in the first place? To me, they did to a certain extend but let's go through bit by bit • Not a fan at all of this art style for the characters. To me the faces (the chin and overall shape) and the eyes looks kinda sloppy the way they were drawn. • The CGs will of course be affected by the characters art styles but if we set aside this detail, to me the CGs quality are more of hits than misses • The sex scenes also more hits than misses, majority of them really hot although a couple of them downright silly (like when you penetrate her while she has pajama pants on) • The story was fine imo. Simple, good, not over the top. If your a fan of the genre you should like it • The way that this whole lending play all started in the first place I find it fun and original and a big praise from me Spoiler: Reason why ntr started Him confessing to have this fetish while he was drunk. Really like the way they played this • There are 2 ending, one "sorta" good and one "sorta" bad, technically you also got the choice to not do anything at all but game ends therefore immediately so i don't count that as an ending. These 2 endings are fine to me: gimmickly, simple not over the top but not too exceptional. (although do have a grievance that I'll explain in the next spoiler point) • There's a wife POV that can be unlocked once you finish the game and then you need to replay it and it displays the option to see the wife sections. Personally as far as wife POV of AS games in general, this one is below average and imo didn't like it Spoiler: Reason why i don't like it if you look at wife POV even the sorta bad ending is pure netorase. not a fan at all of games that are pure netorase entirely, having at least one ending pure and one not pure is preferrable but having all endings being pure is a big NO NO for me • The interactions of the couple after the lending play starts are gold to me and one of the biggest thumbs up of this game to me Let's talk about the 3 characters now: • The way MC was written it was fine to me, some may hate him (not me) but you need this sorta guy for this type of story. • The rival however is one of the biggest bummer in this game. To me there's nothing to praise about anything they did with him. Could have spent some more effort to develop his character but no, all we have on him is bits and bits of fragments of info scattered here and there. Might as well not given him a sprite at all. Also why did they make him look like a doctor but he's an host??? (of an host club i presume) • Everything about the wife (except like i said the art style of her face chin and eyes) was gold to me. They wrote her exceptionally well. She's funny, charismatic, sexy, her interactions are really great and basically she's the reason why this game is worth playing imo. • There's truly a few games where AS made has wrote all 3 of the characters well and sadly this isn't one of them due to the rival In conclusion it was overall a really good last "report" game from Atelier Sakura to me. They will be missed
